United States Postal Service — Local services in Tybee Island

I had a very important package being shipped to me Priority Mail 3-day. It was supposed to arrive today but the only notice I got was saying it's on its way back to California. I was never given a reason why I've never given any explanation and I was sent to Cole for different USPS stores until I finally landed on the correct one. The guy I spoke with at this location was very nice and was the only person to finally tell me what was going on. None-the-less nobody is capable of intercepting and redirecting a package. I also waited on hold for an hour and 15 minutes before conveniently being disconnected as soon as the representative picked up on the 800 number. I lost over $600 worth of merchandise. I went to pick up a package that was shown as arrived at the post office. It was not in my box so I went to the front desk to inquire if it had arrived. The employee said if it wasn't in the box it hadn't arrived. I told her I had called the company & they confirmed it had arrived. She told me the company was mistaken. I showed the tracking info showing it had arrived. Another employee got involved and said it was out for delivery since I had put the wrong information down. (I had given the correct info to the company I ordered from on the phone and THEY transposed it.) In a world where quality customer service and knowledge of the job are things of the distant past, Shaun stands alone as a shining beacon of light in the gloom. For some reason I have frequent troubles with package deliveries, but Shaun always knows exactly what to do and is extremely friendly and helpful every time I stop in with an issue, which he immediately is able to resolve efficiently and effortlessly.
