Have been coming to Tybee island all my life since the 70s have always loved it to the point now I'm done at least 2 times a month. I have always stop by this store last 10 years but I'm now going to avoid stopping at this store and stear the rest of my family away from it also due to unfriendly lady who seems to be in charge. She is very rude and we are on vacation in the south not sure where your from but you and yours will no longer be making money from me and my family. Being smug down in Tybee island is not the atmosphere you mam where far worst than that my wife picked out a few shirts from outside rack witch is 5 dollars so when going inside she seen bathing suits on sale so she handed the lady behind the counter the things from outside to hold and not mix from things inside normal but about 15 minutes later witch is 2hours if you want to be on the beach we went to pay for the 10 bathing suits and ask for the things we left well apparently we took to long to buy more things and she put them back outside. Well the counter lady was nice as she could be but the in charge that put the back was a smug rude little minded person who certainly doesn't care about anything but her own rotten opinion so not a vibe we are looking for. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. STAFF IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND WILL NEVER SEE MY MONEY AGAIN. If I could give 0 stars I would. They were absolutely unprofessional and rude. They took over 5 minutes to come to the counter and I was talking on the phone with my boyfriend while waiting for someone to cash me out. The lady at the front comes up and tells me I cant be on my phone while i was checking out as soon as she gets up there after me waiting for 5 minutes for someone to come to check me out. What type of place is that? Don't buy anything here if you enjoy the beach and love a healthy, biodiverse ocean. I went in to buy souvenir tshirts and hats. While looking around, I came across real, dead baby sharks in a jar of blue liquid. They sell these poor creatures as souvenirs... grotesque and incredibly offensive!!!! They make their money off the viability of the beach and ocean, and this is how they take care of the source of all their tourism dollars. This makes the Tybee community look bad as well. 90% of shark populations worldwide have been slaughtered for human consumption and greed.
