We honestly haven’t had any trouble parking however I will mention I think EVERYONE pees in the garage because the smell is overwhelming lol. I make it a point to park on the tip top by the elevator closest to Starbucks because of the smell (and I have three small kids and no one is usually up on the top floor) BUT this new dude that’s working (as of yesterday to my knowledge) is a SUPER JERK! He has a nasty attitude and is just all around rude! I was in complete shock with how he treated my family both coming in and out, and we’re locals who park here several times a week. We only asked him what we needed to do because being a local we get a flat rate for parking and he acted like I did the worst thing in the world to him. Like I stole his dog and slapped his mother 10 years ago and he hasn’t forgotten about it type attitude. Typically the staff is super kind and sweet. Wishing us a fun and safe day and so on. Before yesterday’s visit we would always tell the staff how grateful we were for their kindness and converse for a few short minutes. Plus the kids enjoy rolling down their windows and saying hi and showing off their toys they’ve brought that day. Anyway, moral of the story is this dude in the...
Read more6/1/19 The woman in the booth who gave me the parking ticket was very kind, she said she was from NY, and we had a great conversation but she didn't tell us that we had to return the $10 ticket at the exit. Mind you that we came to the beach just for a day. As we were exiting the garage, another woman as seen on the ticket (APERRY1) either just a username or who knows waited to have the ticket back. We let her know that we didn't know about giving the ticket back since the $10 was already paid, under pressure we searched for the ticket and had to end up paying $28 for losing the ticket. We left the garage and found the original ticket in the glove compartment, I called the number to get the fee back and they had said to go on the VA Beach website and ask for a refund. A link in which I haven't found. I am definitely not coming back to this complicated garage with little parking...
Read moreClean garage, fairly well-lit garage with decent-sized spaces Close to a lot of great attractions and restaurants, and you can usually find parking - especially if you park early. Prices are a little steep, especially for special events. Also, the elevator was broken when I was there and it looked like it had been broken for a while because there was a huge professionally- printed 2'z3' sign telling customers it was out of order. Not a great planning to leave an elevator unserviced for Neptune Festival Weekend, with all the race participants, sans sculpting contest attendees and people strolling the pop-up...
