Consistently excellent service at Accor Group restaurants. Our order featured the special of the day, pork spare ribs. While the meat was tender, it lacked the desired flavor, and the coleslaw was a bit too vinegar-forward, leaving it untouched. On a brighter note, the salmon was a delightful medium rare, harmonizing perfectly with the beetroot and béarnaise. However, the side veggies and mushrooms fell short. Large onion and cucumber chunks lacked flavor, and the broccoli retained its firmness. the manager promptly offering to remove the disappointing dish from the bill. The Lychee Martini, though, took an experimental turn with a slightly sour taste. While we were informed about new recipes in the works, I couldn't help but yearn for the old fruity charm of the classic Lychee Martini. The char-grilled prawns were a burst of flavors – tender and juicy. Opting for them as a $12 side (which includes 2 prawns) proves to be a more cost-effective choice compared to ordering them as an entree, where you'd pay $35 for a set of 3.

Went there for the first time for the breakfast buffet. Pretty happy with the variety and options available for hot and cold food. Not many cereals to choose from though, There was 2 that I liked out of the 4 or 5 there were available. Very happy with the quality of everything. Plenty of bread options at multiple stations, enjoyed many different types with the cold meats and cheese. They also have someone cooking up eggs the way you want them, I had an omelette, it was very good. Plenty of hot drink machines, lots of choices to make. The staff are exceptional, nothing to complain about when it comes to service, very helpful as well as I had no idea how to use the different hot drink machines but everything was well explained to me on how to use them. I have been to a few posh places like this for breakfast buffet's, it might take the 3rd spot on my list of the best or very close to it. I left very happy after my visit.

We’re always big fans of degustation menus where you get to experience a wide selection of tastes and textures. Before the pandemic, we tried out a Seafood Degustation banquet from Spice Central Kitchen & Bar at Novotel Brisbane and was very impressed by the quality of their food as well as service. We also had the joy of sitting down and talking to Chef Devranjan on how their menu was inspired by the best premium local produce and created to showcase the best of those ingredients. Overall, it was truly a wonderful dining experience at a great value, perfect for those special date nights and celebrations. Will return again

"I am extremely disappointed with Spice Central Kitchen and Bar. It used to be a fantastic place, but now it has become a complete disaster. During my recent visit, our dining experience was nothing short of a nightmare. First of all, the steak we ordered was a complete disaster. One of the steaks was severely overcooked, while the other was undercooked and definitely not worth the hefty $75 price tag. It was an absolute disappointment.

But that's not all. To add insult to injury, my wife's meal had not one, not two, but three large hairs in it. It is absolutely appalling to think that the kitchen staff is not using any hairnets or hats to prevent such disgusting incidents. This is a clear indication of the lack of hygiene and professionalism in the establishment.

I used to have high expectations for Spice Central, but after this terrible experience, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. The quality of the food has deteriorated, and the overall cleanliness and hygiene standards are severely lacking. Save your money and find another place to dine where you can actually enjoy a meal without the fear of finding someone's hair in it. Absolutely...
