Horrible almond croissant. Filled with store-bought custard powder filling and not almond paste. The taste and smell of the custard powder is revolting, just like those profiteroles made by a year 10 student at their cooking class. I have eaten much better almond croissants in other non-French bakeries around Perth with real almond paste, not custard. And if you want to make a custard at least make your own custard from scratch, not custard powder. You price this at $8 each. I actually went there in my pjs at 8 in the morning to buy almond croissants for my family as a gift and there was only 1 LEFT... Luckily the lovely lady told me she can put some more in the oven but will take about 15-20mins... I couldn't help myself but I ate one as it was so fresh and hot!😍 The coffee I ordered was perfect too!thank u🥹 I also tried the chocolate filled pastry and it was delicious!!!
