Both the smoked chicken chowder and fire roasted tomato bisque soups were served hot and tasted awesome. The bread was good and the citrus butter was a nice touch. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. There was a long wait between appetizers and main course. I ordered the 9 oz filet and received a 6 oz filet that was lukewarm at best. This was very disappointing. In addition, the garlic mash potatoes were served stone cold in a ball and had the look of ice cream.
Their breakfast buffet was amazing and an excellent value. I especially liked the made to order omelets. There was a huge amount of people awaiting to be seated both days when I went to breakfast even though their were plenty of empty tables. I wasn't sure what the hold up was but it...

As a result, service throughout was quite slow. When we asked for wine recommendations, she was unable to give us any, nor was there a sommelier. As for the food, we ordered the escargot, the French onion soup, the filet, and the duck confit. All were fine, but nothing spectacular. The steak was probably the biggest letdown--it jut wasn't a very good quality cut of meat, with stringiness and even tendons included. We had a coupon from our hotel, but even so, we probably...
Read moreI was disappointed in the lack of cleanliness, both of our table and in the buffet area. The buffet area is chaos. There is a very large variety of food and all of it looked very good (except the sliced fruit, which was clearly not yet ripe). However, everything we ate was cold. It definitely concerned me from a food safety aspect. The view was OK. You could sort of see some water past the line of trees, so don’t go thinking you’ll have wonderful views. We paid $85 CAD for 2 breakfast buffets (no add-ons), which was the most expensive meal we ate during our entire vacation. Definitely disappointing, and not worth it for...
