SCRAPE - Gourmet Loaded Baked Potatoes & Sweet Potato Waffles — Restaurant in Niagara-on-the-Lake

SCRAPE is incredible! I had a lovely conversation with the chefs while waiting for my order. They have plenty of options for loaded potatoes as well as a couple of non-potato options (such as an excellent sweet potato waffle). The loaded potatoes include toppings and seasonings as varied as curry and cauliflower, roasted eggplant and zuccini with sour cream, salmon capers and sweet peppers, and many others. The flavours are complex and complete, and the textures make every mouthful excellent! The portions are generous and will fill you up!

For the loaded potato meals you can expect to spend around $19, with some toppings being optional extras. But the meal is worth it: great flavours, good portions, warm ambience, and lovely hosts.

While I'm not from the area I'd come back if I was, and would recommend...

All I can say is 10/10! Tried a bunch of different spots in NOTL and turns out this was the best of all!

We tried: Loaded baked potato with creme fraiche and chives such simple toppings and yet this was the best loaded potato I’ve ever had, I will dream about it until I’m back again ingredients tasted fresh and high quality and this really does make a difference in flavour

“The cold one” ice cream sandwich with biscoff sauce the mascarpone ice cream was so light and creamy, once again you can taste the quality. The biscoff was such a delicious touch, i believe it was seasonal but I hope they highlight it!

Also, the owners/staff were so polite, welcoming and kind and did not treat us like just another tourist.

This shop is located on Victoria St, next to Avo and Co, as others have mentioned. We ordered the Runny One (like an Eggs Benny), the Wild One (mushroom and truffle heaven), The Tender One (pulled pork and slaw), and the Summer One (roasted zucchini, eggplant and peppers in tomato sauce, with cucumber& yogurt salad). All were very delicious, but we all agreed the Wild One was the favourite in our family. While there is an upgrade option to use sweet potato, I think the sweet potato would have distracted from the flavours of the ones we got. We were very happy with the baked russet potatoes!
