The Stocking House B&B — Hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake

I really only need to write a one word review. Perfect. But for those who want just a wee bit more - I can't say enough great things about The Stocking House. Let me tell you a bit more about the experience: Location - Perfect. So close to main street and the shopping and theatres. Food - Perfect. Scott is a Martha Stewart master - breakfasts were unbelievably delicious - specific callouts - the benedict, the granola, the macerated berries, the quiche, the perfectly brewed and hot coffee. House - Perfect. Take a step into the past with a balance of comfort and luxury. Every choice was clearly specifically curated with love - from the organ previously owned by a friend in the dining room to the small elements sprinkled around this grand old home. Gardens - Perfect. Need a moment of tranquility? Step into the backyard, or sit out on your private porch, open your book, and take it all in. The birds are chirping, the flowers surround you and they smell glorious! Hospitality - Perfect. Paul and Scott are kind, funny, gracious, genunine and talented. There couldn't be a more perfect pair to be your hosts. Even though they likely welcome hundreds of people into their home, they make you feel like you have been personally selected to be their new best friends. We will 100% be back. Again and again. It was Perfect!!!

My Husband and I visited the Stocking House for our mini-honeymoon/staycation. After a COVID wedding and all that comes with it, we needed a break.

We found the Socking House online, and were overwhelmed in a GREAT way by the beauty and detail in this B&B. I could have walked around the house staring at all of the décor for hours!

Scott and Paul were extremely inviting and so kind. They made us feel at home, and were so welcoming and knowledgeable.

We were comfortable and WELL FED with those gourmet 3 course breakfasts! I recommend The Stocking House to anyone looking for a blissful little get away! The gardens and pond/all the water features were delightful! We barely wanted to leave to explore the rest of Niagra-in-the-Lake! Thank you to Scott and Paul for making our stay so fantastic, we will be back for sure for anniversaries to...

After spending a weekend in this oasis, we are heading home relaxed, rejuvenated and with a full heart. Scott and Paul are genuinely some of the kindest people we’ve come across with incredible taste. The attention to detail was apparent from the second we stepped in their lovely home all the day at down to the finishing touches in the rooms and at breakfast. The 3 course breakfast was restaurant-quality and we loved the bottomless coffee.||||The rooms are fully stocked with coffee, entertainment, toiletries, luxury towels and bedsheets and also a fridge which we found very useful. The backyard is to die for. ||||They gave us the best recommendations and we were not disappointed, including some amazing wineries and distilleries.
