Our experience at the Cinnamon Bear Bar & Grill was absolutely phenomenal! From start to finish, the service, ambiance, and food exceeded our expectations. Love the new Renovation!
The cocktail menu was unbelievable - we ended up trying 6 different cocktails between us as after the first two we needed to see what else was in store!
We started with the octopus, which was perfectly tender and beautifully seasoned—a true standout. The steak was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, paired with a delicious chimichurri sauce that complemented every bite. The Brussels sprouts were crispy, savory, and packed with flavor and a bit of heat —one of the best takes on this dish we've ever had. The chicken was incredibly moist and well-seasoned, a testament to the kitchen's attention to detail. And the patatas? Absolutely divine—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and served with a sauce that left us wanting more.
Our server, Archie, made the experience even more memorable. Archie was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. His warm personality and expert recommendations elevated our night.
The restaurant's recent renovation is absolutely stunning! The refreshed interior creates an inviting and modern atmosphere, perfect for a special night out or a casual meal. Great place to watch the game, have a game of pool and/or an amazing apres or dinner! Chef Julien Owen Mold’s new menu is nothing short of spectacular, showcasing his talent and creativity in every dish.
This was one of the most memorable dining experiences we've had in Whistler. Highly recommend for anyone looking for incredible food, a fantastic setting, and outstanding service! We'll definitely be back.
Thank you, Cinnamon Bear Bar & Grill, Archie, and Chef Julien, for an...

For the price point of this venue, I was disappointed at how neglected our order was placed and the speed at which it was brought to our table. I haven't received service this slow at any place in the world, and that is something I don't like to write about any place I review.
Sitting at the dinner section of Cinnamon Bear Grille on a Friday night during peak Ski season in February. The ambience feels high end, bustling, lots of different events happening around the same space, with a live piano player serenading everyone who walks through the Hilton. The bar next door is packed, while the dinner area is much quieter, moreso a space for families. Upon ordering, it took an hour to get our starters and an additional 45 minutes to get main dishes. This was pure torture, as we watched multiple plates of nachos and chicken wings being zoomed past us into the pub at lightning speeds. The convention happening across from the restaurant was also getting their orders rushed through, all while my crew of 6 sat patiently watching every other table eat. Even getting our drinks took an eternity by any dining standards. Once our order came, I can say that the food though is delicious and very well prepared. Their beef dishes are definitely their specialty, cooked to perfection. Also, the fondue is every table's staple for when...
Read moreI don’t normally leave negative reviews but my experience while I was a guest at the Hilton left me quite frustrated. Firstly, I called the restaurant four times to try and order a salad so that when I returned to the hotel, it would be ready for pick up. No one picked up. So then I had to walk back to the hotel to try and order it in person. I stood there for at least five minutes before anyone noticed I was there. Fine, I ordered, I was hungry so I let it go. When I got the salad and was eating it in my hotel suite, I noticed there was no dressing. So I actually walked back to the restaurant and asked one of the servers why there’s no dressing in my salad. Mind you, this is a $21 salad with no meat. The server told me that the salad does not come with a dressing despite the description on the menu stating that it comes with a Dijon dressing. So either the server was lying or the menu is lying. Either way, I didn’t want to argue because I just wanted to be in my hotel suite and enjoy my food. Thankfully I also got myself other foods so I could actually enjoy my dinner and not just be eating leafs with a few pieces of fruits and a light...
