Originally planned to visit a Vietnamese resto, but unfortunately, it was closed as it was Lunar New Year's Eve. So, we changed our plan and were attracted by this Spanish resto nearby. . All of us ordered the Lunch Set, which included one main and one drink.
My friend ordered Costa del Sol Tasting Lunch, which consisted of three mini tapas, half a bocadillo de jamon serrano and paella.
The three mini tapas included Queso Manchego with Chorizo, Ensalada De Pulpo and Homemade Albondigas. The Queso Manchego with Chorizo is Spanish spicy sausage with manchego cheese aged for three months. Both the sausage and cheese were a bit salty but very rich in flavour. The Ensalada De Pulpo is Spanish octopus salad, which had octopus chunks, bell peppers and olive. She liked this the most among the three tapas, as the octopus was perfectly cooked, paired with bell peppers and olive sauced with salad dressing, giving a refreshing flavour and different textures. The Homemade Albondigas are Spanish meatballs made with beef and lamb meat. She liked the unique flavour of these meatballs. The sauce was outstanding too, not too salty but complementing the meatballs well.
The Bocadillo de Jamón Serrano is a baguette sandwich with Serrano ham. They were very generous with the Serrano ham in this half sandwich, and she loved this pairing between salty ham and crispy baguette. She originally thought the half sandwich was a bit small, but as she was going eating it, she found herself filled up in the middle of enjoying this sandwich🤣🤣.
She chose the Paella, as she was really craving some good traditional Spanish seafood paella for a while!! And to her expectation, it was incredibly delicious, all the flavours from different ingredients mixed perfectly, and with each bite, it was full of flavours and aromas that made her savour every bite, despite her mind trying to slow down and enjoy every each one.
She was super happy with all the dishes, since she loved trying out all these different dishes in one single meal. Although all these mini plates of food didn’t seem like a lot, trust her… they were more than enough, and she was truly satisfied with the portion in the middle of enjoying it🙂↕️🙂↕️. . I ordered Squid Ink Pasta with Gambas al Ajillo. The pasta emitted a fragrant aroma, esp with the garlic-infused olive oil, and had an elastic texture. The shrimp portion was generous (with five pieces), and was fresh and meaty. . My sis ordered Squid Ink Pasta with Spanish Albondigas. She found the meatballs juicy and savoury. It's funny that both of our lips turned black after having the squid ink pasta, and we had a hard time cleaning our lips🤣. . My friend and I received complimentary Iced Orange Tea with our meal, while my sis ordered Hot Cafe con Leche, which is a Spanish Latte, with HKD20 discount. . The iced orange tea is their classic drink recommended by the owner, and we had never heard of this drink before. But after drinking it, my friend completely understood why the owner recommended it especially with ices. It was so refreshing, due to the freshness from the orange juice and the subtle aroma from the tea. Since the sweetness came from the orange juice, it was not too cloying. To her, this drink cleansed her palette after eating different flavourful dishes. . The Spanish resto is adorned with various decorations and photos related to Spain. The tableware and interior design has a distinct Spanish style, igniting your desire to travel to Spain. . The owner was really friendly and nice. He introduced the dishes and drink to us, and recommended the best way...
Read moreNestled in the heart of Tsim sha Tsui Jordan Austin avenue Costa Del Sol is a delightful culinary heaven that seamlessly blends the vibrant flavors of Spain with the exotic charm of Moroccan cuisine. From the moment you step inside, the warm, inviting ambiance sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
The menu is a celebration of Spanish classics, with dishes like perfectly seasoned Tortilla, succulent gambas al ajillo, and a show-stopping paella that transports you straight to the streets of Valencia. Each bite is a testament to the chef's dedication to authenticity and quality ingredients.
But what truly sets Costa Del Sol apart is its unexpected yet brilliant inclusion of Moroccan couscous on the menu. The couscous is a revelation—fluffy, fragrant, and generously topped with tasty onions caramélisé , slow-cooked meats, and a delicate blend of spices especially Rass El Hanout that dances on your palate. It’s a dish that feels both comforting and adventurous, offering a beautiful contrast to the bold flavors of the Spanish offerings.
The service is impeccable, with the owner Sasa who are not only knowledgeable about the menu but also genuinely passionate about sharing their love for the cuisine. Whether you’re a foodie or a curious newcomer, she’ll guide you through the menu with ease and enthusiasm.

At night, this restaurant offers tapas. We have chosen Ensalada De Pulpo, which is a salad with Octopus. The octopus is tender, and the salad is seasoned with black vinegar. Secondly, we have picked Pimientos de Padrón (Padrón Pepper). This is a traditional Spanish dish, the peppers taste good and are so soft. It isn’t spicy but indeed we can taste the great flavour of sweetness. Third dish is the Homemade Albondigas. It is meatball with beef and lamb. The meatball is so juicy and flavourful. Fourth dish is called Salmorejo, which is a cold soup originated from the Southern part of Spain. It is blended with tomatoes, bread and olive oil, with Parma ham and egg on top. This soup is really unique and classic.
We have chosen Mini Arròs negre, which is a Paella with octopus sauce. There are a lot of different seafood in this dish, and the seafood tastes fresh.
For desserts, the churros taste really amazing! The churros have crispy crust and soft inner part, with numerous cinnamon powder on top. It tastes so good when it is dipped into the chocolate sauce. The pistachio gelato tastes great as well. It is not too sweet, but the flavour is so rich with creamy pistachio gelato, Italian pistachio sauce, and pistachio crust on top.
