From so many Korean restaurant we had dined, my daughter agreed that this certified Halal Korean cuisine is the best especially the Kimchi tofu soup. I mean I wouldn't believe myself that I finally got to taste the AUTHENTIC strong flavour of the dishes I ordered. I give 9.6/10
The spicy and sweet chicken, the chicken meat is so tender because the owner Mustafa Temir explained that he found a suplier who supply only halal meats. No wonder the chicken is juicy and tender. I brought home the left over after several hours the chicken is still crispy and tasty. I give 9.5/10
Pancake with dipping sauce...I give 8.5/10 (the sauce 9/10). It's delicious..But I wish it's more crispier.
The Kimchi. Who would predict that the kimchi side dish is home made kimchi; a lil spicy, but it's definitely the best kimchi I ever had unlike the kimchi I bought from any supermarket or in the restaurant the taste doesn't have that "kick" flavour in my tongue..I give 10/10 I don't even need any extra soy sauce or salt or sugar everything's balance. We got free drinks and free cheese sticks too.
the only thing I haven't tried is the jjajangmyeon. i don't dare to order from any Korean resto. It taste either too salty, too oily, or too much onion. Fortunately, this time I had was ..Yippiieee! THE BEST JJAJANGMYEON IN HKG. Remind me when I was in Busan S.K. (but without pork since I am allergic to 🐷 meat).. Here I can chose either beef or chicken. The Jja makes me want to eat again and again. I'd give 9.9/10 for this dish.
Beef Kimbab sushi. It's I loved it!...9/10. IDK what else I could not say Not Tasty in this restaurant 😆 😆 my daughter think I haven't had meal for 100yrs.
Overall....it's 9.8/10 and we didn't feel thirsty after had our meal. It's a definitely recommended because the restaurant has very good service attitude and they aren't stingy to refill the side dish 😛🫰🫰🫰I didn't ask..Ms Kamala the director who served me kept refill my kimchi and stuff. She's so niceeeee...Thank you...I wish I could go to your restaurant e-ve-ry-Dayyyyy
ps: altho is halal food but they do serve soju, beer and...
Read moreLunched at 3pm here but kitchen speed was so slow, had to wait more than 35min for my food..only had one waitress who most likely is nepalese with almost zero english ability, tried asking difference between items in menu, answer given was beyond comprehension.. worst of them all neither restuarant owner nor waitress checked vaccination records nor asked customers coming in to check in the leavehomesafe app, harbouring plenty of sneezing and clearly covid positive people to dine in. Food wise price and food quality imblance was quite apparent, pancake was horrible (pancake was too sour and sauce was extremely salty) extremely bad combination..almost ironical, another pair of customers were so mad at the terrible food quality and extremely dirty condition of the place due to flies hovering everywhere around the table and food, with background music stuttering every second more annoyance than pleasure, they had to shout at the waitress and complaint about terrible hygiene condition and poor food quality vs price.. should have known not to ever try random restaurants in tst, you are bound for disappointment. Im just thankful now im not down with food poisoning, not sure about contracting...
Read moreI was so happy because this halal certified resto was close to my Airbnb! At least, I can had meals variation beside Arabian/Indian food. I came with my friends, who looked for soup or comfort foods because we just landed from our 5hours flight. I ordered spicy beef soup, it tasted like my mom's asam padeh food from Sumatera. I liked that! The soup served with rice, but there was meehoon inside the soup. So the portion is more more than enough for a person who had late lunch & really hungry. The seller recommended us mix vers fried boneless chicken, & I also loved that crispy skin. My friends who ordered ox bone soup & bibimbap also happy and full with their food. On the next day, since this resto is closed later than usual resto & mall, I ordered takeaway kimbap. As expected, it tasted good & the portion was wow! But I was wondering why they served kimbap with mayonaise instead of soy sauce? But anyway, love the foods! The resto is not too big, & it looked crowdy for me when I came at night. I also spent more on this resto, but it's still reasonable with the portion and the food quality. I will bookmark this place & will be back whenever...
