How espresso is supposed to be! Art & Coffee is a little cafe off the main street. I was drawn in by a sign down a small passage with a few other shops. This cafe advertises unique African art and of course, coffee. I tried a cup of espresso and a brownie, and was not disappointed. Unlike other espresso I have tried in other countries, I was served a small plate with warm frothed creme, two packets of sugar, and a glass of water.. a long with my brownie. This is simply how one should drink espresso. I could sweeten and add milk to taste and enjoy the whole cup of espresso rather than just 'take a shot'. The espresso carried an intense but balanced flavor and the creme and sugar did not overpower the coffee. The espresso gave me uplifting and steady energy and was not jittery. A sign of a careful brew and thoughtful process.

Found this place since I was freezing. Very nice decor and staff. Very nice coffee and cream roll. Some seating nearing the wall has sockets where you can plug in your charger. Tables are for many and also for many people or less people together.

Also has a washroom. Accessible for handicapped people.

Can spend time here without being worried about being shooed away.
