Café Cihelna — Restaurant in Prague

Visiting Prague was an unforgettable experience, and one of the highlights of my trip was spending time at Café Cihelna. This charming café, nestled in the heart of the city, offers a cozy yet elegant atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The interior is tastefully designed, combining modern elements with traditional touches, creating a welcoming space to enjoy a meal or coffee.

What made the visit even more special, however, was the outstanding service provided by our waiter, Dave. His English was impeccable, which made communication smooth and effortless, and his sense of humor added a delightful touch to the experience. Dave's warmth and enthusiasm were contagious, and he truly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. He not only made great recommendations from the menu but also shared interesting tidbits about Prague, adding a personal touch to our visit.

The service was efficient yet friendly, making us feel like we were more than just customers—by the end of our time there, it felt like we were leaving a friend's home. Whether it was his quick wit or his genuine care for providing the best experience, Dave certainly elevated our time at Café Cihelna.

Nakon duge šetnje i pre lijepom vremenu u Pragu smo sasvim slučajno pronašli ovaj malo skriveni, ali pre lijepi Kafić u dvorištu Muzeja "Franz Kafka", koji odiše toplom atmosferom i iznenađujuće srdačnim gostoprimstvom vlasnika, koji svakog gosta s osmjehom dočekaju i sa strpljenjem objasne meni i sve ponude, a koji imaju itekako izvrsnu ponudu raznih kolača, poslastica i uredno i srdačno spremljenih jela, sa vrlo ukusnom kavicom, Cappuccinom i drugim pićima. Jako smo bili zadovoljni i uvijek ćemo rado opet navratiti u ovaj stvarno ugodan i hvalevrijedan ambient s velikim srcem i vrlo ukusnim ponudama!

BRAVO za vlasnike i izuzetno prijatnu suradnicu i suradnika tj. poslužitelje, s kojim smo imali prilike malo i privatno popričati i koji si uzimaju dovoljno vremena za svakog gosta, da se svatko osjeća kao kod kuće! "Čista 10-ka!"

Nach einem langen Spaziergang bei sehr schönem Wetter in Prag fanden wir ganz zufällig dieses etwas versteckte, aber sehr nette Café im Innenhof des „Franz Kafka“-Museums, das eine warme Atmosphäre und die überraschend herzliche Gastfreundschaft der Besitzer ausstrahlt, die jeden Gast mit einem Lächeln begrüßen und geduldig die Speisekarte und alle Angebote erklären, die ein wirklich hervorragendes Angebot an verschiedenen Kuchen, Leckereien und ordentlich und herzhaft zubereiteten Speisen, dazu sehr leckeren Kaffee, Cappuccino und andere Getränke haben. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen immer wieder gerne in diese wirklich angenehme, entspannende und lobenswerte Atmosphäre mit großem Herzen und sehr leckeren Angeboten zurück!

BRAVO an die Eigentümer und äußerst angenehmen Mitarbeiter bzw. Kellner-/in, mit denen wir auch die Möglichkeit hatten uns etwas privat zu unterhalten und die sich für jeden Gast genügend Zeit nehmen, damit sich jeder wie zu Hause...

This was one of the best dining experiences we have had on our European trip. Niki was the friendliest, fastest, and most efficient waitress we have had in Europe— reminiscent of service we are used to in the states. We got tomato soup, a salad, and an arugula prosciutto pizza, and it was some of the best food we have had. The patio is gorgeous and the drinks were cold. The raspberry lemonade did not disappoint.
