Fuku - Wok & Sushi — Restaurant in Prague

I have experienced one of the most disturbing moments in this restaurant.

Service was alright, but nothing special though. The staff was not really experienced in bringing drinks. They didn’t use any holder and just bring it with their bare hands which is really ineffective and they have to bring it on couple of times before they were done.

Cleanliness was not alright. Next to us was a wall that was dirty, probably by some oil because there were oil drops all over it. One guy that was cleaning the tables was throwing all the used dishes to a bucket, wich was weird but at least effective I think? But the most disgusting part were the toilets. I wasn’t able to check women’s toilets, but I assume that it wasn’t much a difference. In the men’s bathrooms were doors that were really hard to close. The booths were awful. In one booth there was not toilet seat on the toilet, but it was broken and thrown beside the toilet. And in the other one there was a seat, thank god, but there was missing a light switch. Don’t get it wrong, there was a light but the switch was smashed as hell. Someone left a trail of their “work” but I was not angry on the someone because the brush was also totally broken, the holder was not there. Also the floor was not really clean. After I was done I came to a basin and the soap dispenser was also totally broken.

Food was below average. The food wasn’t really spiced and tasted really dull. Food that supposed to be warm was totally cold. And food (sushi) that supposed to be fresh was doubtful.

My conclusion is that the price does not match the services you get for it. It was a horrible experience which I don’t want to...

I often go to all you can eat sushi restaurants, and this was the worst one I ever went to. The sushi tastes okay but is really just “eatable”, we just ate to still our hunger but there was no interest of having more. Any other thing which is not sushi is quite cold and old: fried food is not crispy but has a soft outside and is like gum on the inside. Sushi also has way too much rice to fill you more quickly so that you don’t take too much. The service is also weird: when we entered they told us to go upstairs and that we have to leave in an hour maximum. This also never happened to me. Nobody told us how it works here and what we have to do exactly. When the waiter came to us (while we were already eating) we ordered 2 mango juices, but they ended up being “mango drinks” with like 5% of real mango and tasted way too sweet and artificial (in my country it would be illegal to call this drink a juice). It tasted so horrible that we didn’t drink it. 100%...

Surprised! Rare find!! Bingo!! Half past one, looking for lunch near Wenceslas Sq. Drew my attention by its bright, modern and clean outlook. Honestly I only tried local cuisines on traveling but I gave this a try, partly because of its 299CZK all you can eat buffet but caused of my wife request. Well it turned out as what I wrote in the beginning. About the restaurant, pictures tell a thousand words please see yourself. About the food, sushi in western standard I would say they are in high quality. A night before we paid 210CZK for 8 California Rolls from My Wok and Sushi which is just fair. In Fuku, sushi choices are various. So good is my comments. As for the Chinese food, they also surprised me as they are so closed to Hong Kong standard. They also have some Korean cold dishes AND I also found a Dry Cured Ham lying there!! Staff are attentive and friendly. Thank you for your service. Sightseeing and food made up a perfect holiday.
