Kolacherie, located on Celetná Street in Prague, offers an authentic taste of traditional Czech pastries, providing a refreshing alternative to the ubiquitous trdelník (chimney cakes) that have been criticized by local experts like Janek Rubeš for their lack of genuine local heritage.

At Kolacherie, the focus is on koláče—soft, round pastries made from yeasted dough and filled with ingredients such as fruit, poppy seeds, or sweetened cheese. The café's commitment to quality is evident in their use of all-natural, locally sourced ingredients, and their dedication to baking fresh daily without preservatives or artificial additives.

The service is warm and welcoming, creating a pleasant atmosphere for patrons. Complementing the delightful pastries is an excellent selection of coffee, featuring a full espresso menu with beans from a local roastery, ensuring a satisfying experience for coffee enthusiasts.

For those seeking an authentic Czech culinary experience, Kolacherie is a must-visit...

Simply underwhelming. One of the most mediocre bakeries in Prague. This place has so many great reviews and I simply don’t get it. I think that the location of the bakery is one of its biggest strengths because as soon as you walk in you are welcomed by this kind of worn out place with servers that don’t even notice you. I didn’t felt welcome at all. But I can get myself over that, not everyday is a good day. What’s worse is that the food is just acceptable. I have tasted multiple kolaches so I’ve decided to get the Frgal which I’ve never had. The thing is that there was nothing memorable about it. The dough on the edges was a bit dry and the crumble on top wasn’t as buttery as it can be. I really appreciate they have vegan options but that about it. For me this is a skip and I don’t...

We got 2 Kolaç, a mango matcha, and a pumpkin spice latte. There’s vegan options but both kolaç (one with cream cheese and apricots and a vegan one with mixed berries) were dry and definitely quite old. The staff was nice but the service was not good because they served me the hot spice latte and after a good 10 minutes the mango matcha for my bf arrived too (so for me it was either drinking the latte cold or drinking it in front of my bf’s face while he was waiting for his matcha). The mango matcha and the pumpkin spice latte were good though. There’s no seating inside a part from 3 pillows basically the floor next to the display so you eat and drink with everyone’s butts in your face. Also, 17.52€ for 2 kolaç and 2 drinks…....
