Nevinný Bar Gecko — Restaurant in Prague

Extremely bad experience.

My friends were physically assaulted by the staff here. They were physically pushed out of the bar, with one of my friends being grabbed near the throat because they did not want to pay for a drink they did not order or receive.

Throughout this experience, the staff shouted that they were "Czech here" and that it was "Czechs first." I don't think we would have had this experience if we were Czech, and I think we were targeted for violence because of our ethnic/national background.

This was an extremely scary and upsetting experience, please avoid this bar...

Could be a nice place, unfortunately it wasn‘t for us. We had a bad smell of toilet at our table, which was rather disgusting. On top of that my friend had a Mojito in which we didnt‘t taste any rum/alcohol whatsoever. We asked for a reasonable extra shot in it and were charged 89 cr on top. I felt like he did rip us off. My caipirinha came in a 200 ml glass (max), which made it the smallest I ever had. Had ice cubes in it instead of crushed ice as well. May sound a little picky but the whole experience...

The burgers were very tasty but the service let this place down. Lovely young lady serving about 11 tables just couldn't keep up. We were eventually given a warm bottle of prosecco, I had to get up to ask for an ice bucket. Lady too busy giggling with a young fella at the bar. A good 20 minutes after eating, our plates were still uncleared on our table. Didn't even ask how our food was. Server needs to be retrained on prioritising customer service over idle chit chat...
