Husband wanted to try here so we walked to it for opening time of 15.00 on Sunday 19th January,The bar guy was just unlocking the door.As we went to walk in. he was just about to go outside for a cigarette,he shook his head and sighed,I said you can still go for a smoke, I didn't mind, but he stormed by pulled his coat off like some mardy child and walked to the back of bar shaking his head.In all our drinking years have we ever come across such a ignorant bar man. New beer bar in town. Definitely inspired by American style beer bars, with the untapped style menu on TV screens and a multitude of beer styles, ranging from classic Czech to smoothy sours served from a frozen margarita machine. I stuck with the former 😛 Over a dozen taps, and fridges full of bottles and cans from locals and imports like 3 Fontainen. Flights available. Great service from really knowledgeable staff. Could easily be a 5-star spot with better atmosphere. The wings here are absolutely amazing—some of the best I’ve had—and the beer selection is great too. Unfortunately, the atmosphere really lets the place down. It’s way too bright, more like an operating room than a cozy craft bar. They also turned off the music around 6 PM and never turned it back on, even after we asked twice.
