DO NOT GO TO THIS CAFE, ESPECIALLY TOURISTS Luckily, I've worked in the restaurant industry for several years, learning crucial things like being empathetic, friendly and helping customers, well, clearly that doesn't exist here! I was sick and wanted a place to have a good hot coffee and a cake but I urgently needed to go to the bathroom. I enter the cafe and am approached in an arrogant way that before using the bathroom I needed to order first , when I asked to please use the bathroom first a blonde lady started pointing her finger at the door and speaking Czech and even though I asked her to speak English, she refused to do so. I place my order, go to the bathroom and come back to pay when at the end I tell the blonde lady that next time she would be more friendly to the customers and she responded by insulting me again in Czech!! Furthermore, the super burnt coffee tastes horrible and the cakes I bought are not fresh, hard, tasteless, they look like they were made days ago unfortunately I don't have any kind of good opinion about my experience, except that the place looks good showing and presentable, but ITS NOT WORTH TH HYPE. However ARROGANT CUSTOMER SERVICE, BURNED COFFE AND NOT FRESH FOOD … sincerely? I have found better cafes in the surrounding area with great food, more affordable prices and FRIENDLY PEOPLE like cakeshop , bakeshop and ovocny svetozo!! I hope no customer has to experience an experience like mine, one of the WORST cafes I visited in Prague I hope you learn how to truly treat customers because that way you won't get very far, specially the blond girl that truly doesn’t know hoje to work there or interact with people...
Read moreSaturday 25th November i went to this place t enjoy their pastry and coffee, and was shocked with the worst service ever, an old lady barely looking at me, no greetings, no smile (even if it's optional), i said good morning, no answer, i told her I'm looking for a table for myself, she answered with her hand with a very rude manner, i looked at her and said " have a good day, i think i came to the wrong place" and i left, i went to another coffee shop very close to them , very polite and welcoming people who made me forgotten this misadventure, this place deserve far better than...
Read moreCute little coffee & cake place with lovely family atmosphere. Cozy but not crammed. Striking the balance of using the space on the spot. Delicious traditional Czech cakes, but they also have sandwiches if you're up for something savoury. I had double espresso and the cakes, delicious. Make sure to try 'Misa cake', it's based on traditional Czech ice cream made of cottage cheese. If you like that flavour you will not regret. By the way, can you guess what the chandelier...
