The newest location in a cool food district. I’d prefer this one on sunny days when you can enjoy their products on the benches provided in the outdoor area. Inside, there are only three small spots for 2/3 people each, which, if it's raining, will likely be occupied.
Regarding their products, they offer a wide selection ranging from classics to more unique items. The PAC is easily one of the best I've tried in town.
However, the real star is the Tebirkes: a kind of PAC covered in poppy seeds, filled with marzipan, with a crispy caramel base. Being baked on a broad surface of sugar, it creates this sweet and crispy caramel disc. A flavorful, interesting, fun, and visually appealing idea.
Their typical product, the Spandauer: a sort of pastry basket filled with custard. A crispy pastry with a soft center, balanced in flavors, and overall delightful. I recommend giving it a try.
Overall, their reputation is well-deserved. The products are of high quality, and their brand is truly intriguing....
Read moreI really miss HART’s bread. 😋 The first time I visited, it was early in the morning, and the line was incredibly long. I wanted to grab a coffee and enjoy some bread outside, but there weren’t any available seats, so I ended up having breakfast at PROLOG (which was amazing too) across the street.
The second time I visited was in the evening, and luckily, it wasn’t as crowded. Every bread on display looked absolutely delicious. I ended up choosing a cinnamon twist, which had a croissant-like texture—super crispy and tasty. Unfortunately, it wasn’t heated (not sure if I could’ve asked the staff to heat it up). The coffee seemed to use beans from PROLOG, but the milk foam temperature felt slightly too cool given the chilly weather. Nevertheless, I had a fantastic experience at HART.
I noticed on their official Instagram that they recently made PANETTONE, and it looked incredible. It’s such a shame my trip to Denmark had...
Read moreBeautiful bakery with the decent variety in sweets and in breads.
Had tried their speciality, bread, butter and cheese (we did not know that you can tell which bread you want as we were visiting for the first time) however whatever bread we got - it was delicious. Simple combination, nicely made. Second we had asked to give the bread and butter combination only. That came with another variety of bread. And it was tasty too. Along with that ordered a tart with smoked leeks. That was also good.
In sweets, we tried strawberry tart and cinnamon twists. Strawberry tart was light and with nice proportions. And cinnamon twist was airy and light.
As the day was nice and sunny (as usual windy) - could not find a place to sit outside but managed to find one sitting place inside.
Please do...
