Phago — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Found myself inexorably drawn here after wandering through Kongens Nytorv on a Friday evening. The price for the chicken falafel pita was pretty steep for not so big a portion. French fries came with a generic white savory dip which was quite tasty (I later deduced it was mayonnaise). For my beverage, I selected from the cooler an unlabeled clear plastic bottle of vaguely yellow water, which the employee helpfully explained was in fact their homemade lemonade. It tasted of a bittersweet floral tea and complemented the food well. It was a beautiful day to eat outside on the street as the sky reflected the colors of the setting sun and throngs of handsomely dressed locals bustled by, buzzing with excitement (and likely alcohol) for a night...

Lamb is good. That is the only good thing I can say about the whole experience. I have been there 4 times as I wanted to give more chance however it even got worse each time.

First of all, people work there have no idea how to make the flatbread. If anyone from that restaurant will read this, please pay more attention on training your employees. Another thing about the packaging, they don't know how to wrap the sandwich. 3 out of 4 times, the whole thing collapsed and split up.

There is a long way to go to compete with other flatbread restaurants...

I have ordered a (Wolt) delivery from Phago 4 times and those were incredible value! but my last one with a physical pick-up and the way the pickup was delayed and handled was not okay. What was most disappointing was the food - the quality has not gone down, but the size of the wrap shrank by more than half!! I could not believe it when I opened the bag. I loved the first 4 times, and I still hope it was a glitch in the kitchen, hence 3 stars, and not 1 as that 5th experience should be. All the best...
