Absolutely lovely find! Very glad we found this place early enough in the trip that we can go back to try more dishes.
Service and atmosphere: Service was efficient and the waiter was polite and warm. The overall atmosphere was honestly perfect, charming and quite intimate. We visited early afternoon (Around 4pm) and it was quiet (Which we feel only added to the quaintness).
Food: I'm not sure where to begin with the food except it was incredibly well done! We had the spring rolls and Bangkok dangerous, both of which had much more flavour than expected, with the latter having a strong kick that didn't sully the flavour in the slightest and instead added to the dish perfectly (A hurdle I feel a lot of places fall short at).
For the mains we shared a beef massaman curry and pad thai and although they were both beautifully done, the former was one of the best thai dishes I believe I have ever had. The potatoes were soft and done perfectly, beef tender and once again as with the other dishes the balance of flavour was incredible. Overall pricing of the dishes were also well priced for Copenhagen and for the portion sizes you are receiving it is definitely worth the money and then some.
Tip: -You can pay the bill at the till whenever you are ready (We didn't realise this at the beginning!)
-If you like beef I could not recommend the beef...
Read moreThe first time we visited Charm was during our first trip to Copenhagen in September of last year, and it instantly left a lasting impression. Out of all the dishes we tried, the Massaman Beef Curry stood out in a big way — so much so that it’s become a must-have every time we return.
The dish is unlike any other Massaman curry we’ve had — and we've had many. My wife has lived in Thailand, and between us, we’ve tried Thai food across several countries and in restaurants ranging from street stalls to upscale dining. Charm’s version easily ranks among the best.
The curry is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced — creamy without being too heavy, with a buttery consistency that coats everything beautifully. The beef is sliced thin, incredibly tender and juicy, and the blend of coconut milk, spices, potatoes, and cashews adds both comfort and complexity to the dish.
When we returned to Copenhagen a couple of months ago, we made it a point to come back — and ended up bringing all our friends along too. Everyone we’ve taken has loved it just as much as we do. The food at Charm isn’t just delicious, it’s memorable. We’ll definitely keep...
Read moreMy friend and I were craving some Asian food while we were holidaying in Copenhagen and we new Charm existed but were sad when we found out that it was closed for lunch. We went by anyways and noticed their door was open! Walked in and apparently that was the first day they decided to open for lunch and had just updated their timings on Google.
It. Was. Amazing! I have never written a review for a restaurant but honestly the food was so good! Best Thai I have ever had outside of Thailand. The service was brilliant, really nice and welcoming, and portions were good. If I ever go back to Copenhagen I am definitely visiting them again! We got some noodles and the chicken green curry and the chicken was cooked to perfection! Noodles...
