June 2023: When I stay in Chamonix, then Café Atelier is my go-to place for a morning or afternoon coffee, for a nice lunch , or for a cool afternoon beer. I love their selection of coffees and their varied menu, including delicious crepes, ice cream coupes, salads, sandwiches and other lunch or early dinner meals. Situated in the heart of Chamonix, close to the river, with gorgeous views of the Aiguille du Chamonix and the Mont Blanc massif, it is just a pure joy to sit and relax here, while taking in the breath-taking scenery. At any time of the day Café Atelier has something on offer that will make your day a little better.

It truly felt like coming to visit friends! I can't wait to be back again when fully recovered.

They expanded their outdoor seating and the staff is still excellent and very kind. They still deserve all...

Read morePopped into l’Atelier for some food prior to going to the Aiguille du Midi. We were greeted by welcoming members of staff and shown to a table outdoors, just as the sun was hitting the terrace. We placed our orders and after a small bit of people watching the food soon arrived. The food was absolutely delicious and flavoursome and was devoured by all members of our party. Unlike other establishments in Chamonix we didn’t feel like we were being rushed so the table could be reused. Big thank you to Johan for making us...
