I’m going to do an in-depth review because this place deserves it!
Go here for great coffee, hot chocolate, great in house nut milks and pastries and amazing gluten free options too. Also great location and staff.
1- the coffee. Amazing variety of roasts. From really dark to medium light to very light coffee. It was amazing. Baristas know their stuff. It was so good we came our last day to get beans to go for the next few days of our trip.
2- hot chocolate. You know how it can be too sweet and syrupy and make your stomach hurt? Well not here. This is the high quality, home made, nourishing warmth with just the right amount of chocolate that warms your body and soul
3 the location and staff - they take pleasure in seeing you happy. They really try to understand what you want. It’s rare to find that. Location wise - perfect setting off the main pedestrian street. Again I’d sit here all day with a book just because it’s cozy.
4- house made almond milk! It’s great quality. And Not too watery. Amazing substitute for latte or addition in your coffee.
5- ok the pastries. Id come here just for them: we had both the regular chocolate chip. Just amazing. Rich gooey and yes you can eat two. Brownies - so these are gluten free and amazing. We warmed them up and the...

Update: I'll elaborate more for the owner. I got a simple cafe latte flavor was good, but there was fairly strong after taste of the coffee where it seemed over roasted or burnt. It wasn't overpowering but after having some of the sweetness of the delicious pastries the flavor of the over roasting was even more apparent. The others in my group, all having cafe lattes commented on the same undertone flavor. While this sounds overly harsh, it was similar to that aftertaste if just roadside coffee, though I want to really point out, the overall experience was Significantly better, but I simply use thjs reference to illustrate the flavor profile we had
It didn't seem like it was a boldness of the coffee. Overall we enjoyed our coffee and the food, but given other experiences of coffee throughout Europe, the aftertaste left it...
Read moreOk so yes I like coffee, I don’t know a great deal about coffee but I do know when it’s good and this is good. I make a practice of googling ‘best coffee spots in …..’ when I travel and this shop came up when I did that for Chamonix.
I didn’t need to though, because the days I went (UTMB week) the place was absolutely packed and I mean packed with ultra runners and their families and friends. And trail runners know their coffee, like they do craft beer, facial hairs, tattoos and low body fat.
Oat milk cortado is my go to order in coffee shops and this was perfect. Great coffee flavour, correct size, well made. Vegan bananas Brad was great too.
I went twice a day for the two days I was there and the queue was always fast moving. It maybe my fave coffee shop in the world. Certainly my...
