Amazing Steak and Unmatched Hospitality in the Heart of Paris

We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant while wandering around Paris, craving steak and chips. What a delightful surprise! The menu offered two variants of steak at an excellent price, so we decided to give it a try—and we’re so glad we did.

The steak here was, without exaggeration, the best I’ve ever had. The portions were generous, offering fantastic value for money. The entire experience was elevated by the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, who went out of their way to make us feel at home despite our very limited French. A special mention to one of the staff members who kindly assisted us by speaking to an aggressive Uber driver on the phone, ensuring we were safely on our way.

If you find yourself in central Paris, do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant. The food and wine are outstanding, and the value for money is simply unbeatable. Thank you to the amazing team for an unforgettable...

I had the Duck Brest (cooked medium) with fries and a beer. Duck was tender, skin had a good sear with a smoky flavor. We had the tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella starter as well and it was a nice light/fresh appetizer. Food and atmosphere were great. Cozy spot with indoor, outdoor seating, and a handful of spots at the bar. We were seated right away (me, wife, and toddler) since we got in just before lunch rush. Seems like there can be a bit of a wait though once the rush starts with many people coming over Champs / Arc de Triomphe nearby. Don’t expect particularly fast service since the place has a smaller kitchen and just a couple waiters. Waiter brought by a kids book and some extra bread to keep our little one happy though which was nice. Note, there’s no high seat for little ones if that’s important to your party. Overall, a great little restaurant serving a good variety of French Cuisine as long as you’re...

This was by far the best restaurant in Paris! Thank God for this place, as it was one of the few spots where I could eat well and actually feel full without breaking the bank. As we all know, Paris can be quite expensive, but this restaurant offered incredible value for the quality of food they served. The staff were incredibly friendly, and to top it off, the waiter even remembered us after we visited twice and offered us complimentary coffee when we were leaving. The portions were generous, and the food was top-notch. I highly recommend the chicken and the steak - both were cooked to perfection and came with delicious French fries. It's a perfect spot for anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere in Paris. I'll definitely be returning next time...

Bistros in Paris are a bit of a gamble—stroll into a random one, and you’re more likely to be greeted by a sighing server and a plate of “meh” than a hilarious waiter and unforgettable food. But this place? Absolutely the latter. The food? Epic. The kind that makes you want to hug the chef. And the ambiance? Perfectly Parisian, with just enough charm to make you feel like you’re in on a local secret. In short, this place nails it. Who knew winning the Paris bistro lottery could taste this good?

We stopped in for a quick lunch on the patio today and everything was absolutely delicious. As we ate on the sidewalk, a torrential downpour arrived. Our server promptly ran out to relocate all diners to inside tables with a cheerful smile. They offered tremendous patience as we practiced our French. The food was really delicious and the price point was terrific given the very upscale surroundings. Highly recommend the bavette (& the tiny mustard crock was a bonus!)
