I can’t see how anyone would rate this place less than 5 stars. Maybe we were lucky in terms of the excellent service - but the decor, location, vibe and food can’t be accidental. Staring with the decor - this place is beautiful! And that’s saying a lot in city where *everything* is beautiful. I recommend sitting inside, btw. The pictures really don’t do justice. We were seated in the room in the back, with a beautiful view of the Parisian roundabout and water fountain. Being alone in the back didn’t mean slow service like it would in most places where you struggle to get the attention of the waiters. An extremely polite and caring young man named Clement kept checking on us and made sure we had everything we needed - without being pushy. He was very patient and very helpful in picking food for our kid and made us feel at home. So… the food! I had their version of chicken Supreme. Wife had the goat cheese salad, and one kid had the hot dog which they were gracious enough to make without the graten for us, and which came in an amazing fresh baguette. Everything was absolutely delicious. Lastly, the music was perfect - a fine choice of American soul classics, played on a fine tuned audio system - perfect volume. So, we may have been lucky with the service or the music, we’ve only been there once, but I doubt it - you can tell this place cares about being really good - they have a good enough location to be mediocre and still make money, but they chose to aim higher. I recommend it with all my heart and hope I get a chance to visit again.

My review is not about food, I had one of the most uncomfortable experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant here today. I entered, ordered a glass of rosé, onion soup, and chips, and briefly left my seat to use the restroom. When I returned, my drink was still there. Shortly after, my food arrived, and the waiter began standing unusually close to me. He then tapped me twice on my back when I said thank you!!! which immediately made me freeze in shock. This was completely inappropriate and left me feeling very uncomfortable. I asked to see the manager and explained what had happened. While the manager listened, she said she couldn’t check the cameras herself and instead suggested I speak directly with the waiter, something I absolutely did not want to do, given how unsettling his behavior was. At that point, I asked for the bill, but they chose not to charge me. I left immediately without touching my food. This incident was deeply disturbing and unacceptable, especially as a solo female guest. I expect the restaurant to take this matter seriously, review the camera footage, and ensure proper staff conduct. No guest should ever be made to feel unsafe in what should be a welcoming environment.

This is a really cute and beautiful decorated cafe. I came here on Sunday morning as there’s just not a lot of option around this time and I was ravenously hungry. (Note this) Here comes the worst meal I had in Paris. I ordered a salmon Benedict and a cappuccino. Then coffee came out super fast like 5min, Benedict 10 min. Living in New York City and frequenting benefit for brunch, I know what is good, average and unacceptable for this dish. Unfortunately today was unacceptable. The hollandaise sauce was as sour and thick as a lemon custard. The egg yolk was way too running that once cut it immediately swamped the whole plate. The worst is stale muffin! It was just a very badly made dish. I hope the kitchen could do a better job and paid serious attention to each component. After all, don’t lower the standard just because you will have flocks of tourists coming and going.

We decided to stop by to have some salads and drinks in the afternoon. Nothing special I found about the food and the food prices seems alright considering the location as situated close to the Opera and Louvre. Just as we were sat outside, an incident occurred. A passerby collided with one of the servers with a tray in his hand holding card machine and what appeared to be a full cup of coffee. Next thing we knew was that everything was flying as the server not only did not try to hold the tray but rather threw the whole tray in front of all of us with customers both sides and just walked inside the restaurant leaving the mess behind. I understand the frustration the server may have had but showing the anger that way was a bit shocker to me. I could see spills and splash of coffee on the customers opposite to our table and some on the table behind us. On our table a couple of broken cup chips landed. We had not ordered at this point. The manager and other servers came to the scene and cleaned the area but I did not hear any apology to anyone, another shocker!

A server, seemed like one of the supervisors, took our order with little interest. In the end, after paying the bill, I casually asked our server if the services are included in the bill and I was given the firm No, saying services are not included. Checked the menu again sat on the other empty table and translated the texts at the bottom of the menu to English and it clearly mentioned Services are included. Although not impressed with the overall experience, my wife still left some tip to the young lady who escorted us to the table in the beginning and was polite each time we asked something.

Based on so many good reviews, it seems like the good experience is a hit or miss in...

We had such a wonderful experience, thanks to Ludovic, who was truly a delight from start to finish. He greeted us with such warmth and friendliness, and throughout our visit he was attentive, accommodating, and genuinely made us feel welcome. It’s rare to meet someone who can balance professionalism with such a kind, personal touch, but Ludovic did exactly that.

The food was equally impressive. We started with the Caesar salad, which was absolutely amazing—perfectly crisp, fresh, and so flavorful that it easily stood out as one of the best we’ve had. We also ordered the fish and chips, and it did not disappoint. The fish was golden, crispy on the outside while tender and flaky inside, paired perfectly with the fries. To round everything out, we treated ourselves to a hot chocolate, and it was top-tier—rich, smooth, and indulgent, the perfect comforting finish to the meal.

Overall, the combination of delicious food and exceptional service made this experience truly memorable. Ludovic’s friendliness and care elevated everything, and we left feeling not only satisfied but genuinely uplifted. We would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and service that goes above and beyond. We can’t wait...
