Pinocchio — Restaurant in Paris

I ate at this restaurant last night with my son. I was made to feel unwelcome and left feeling upset. My spoken French is quite poor but I do understand. I was made to feel inferior to the French customers on the table next to us and at one point heard the waiter apologise to the couple for serving our food before them. We had ordered before them. Our food was OK but not great. What really upsets me is this. I love Paris and the French. I admire their patriotism and culture. They have my respect. Of all the countries to holiday in I chose yours and to spend my wages with you. I wasn't expecting to be treated like royalty however simple kindness would have been enough. A smile even. We were made to feel like we were rubbish. Totally worthless. My son and I were deeply upset. We shall return to beautiful Paris with the knowledge that this beautiful country holds beautiful people and maybe a few ignorant judgemental ones like these waiters. First time going there and last time, service was a little long even though we were there in the middle of the afternoon with just a few costumers.

We ordered the avocado bruschetta to split, the nice thing was that they brought it in 2 separate plate with our own salad. So for that it was nice, but the bruschetta didn’t really taste much. The bread was to thin for the amount of avocado (not seasoned at all) and the rest. Then we also split the frozen mozzarella sticks, a little too cooked and instead having a good marinera (tomato sauce) sauce they gave us a pesto sauce that doesn’t go with it.

Then we both got the pizza Campione, the dough was ok but couldn’t taste the mushroom, the meat didn’t really taste like fresh good quality meat but more like low quality.

Still I ordered a tiramisu to wash the taste of everything I ate before and it was good.

So all in all, if u are not too picky I guess you can go but if you want really good food...

We were looking for a nice place to eat ang came upon this restaurant. The food was okey. However, their service is so poor. First, we asked for the waiter to open the umbrella on our table because it literally gets in our way but he refused. We asked another waiter later on, who graciously opened it. Then at the end of the meal, we asked for my little girl’s dessert that’s included in the menu. We never got it! We waited for literally 30 mins for just an ice cream and just gave up! The waiter keeps telling “j’arrive!!” Everyone’s getting what they ordered and here we are paid our bill, waited forever, no dessert arrived!! I honestly felt was it because we’re Asians??
