Xing Fu Tang Sainte-Anne — Restaurant in Paris

This place is honestly a disgrace to the franchise. Horribly curt service from the beginning in a pretty dingy box. Then comes ordering and it gets worse... no ability to modify sugar/ice levels, a menu that reads like pure candy with practically ZERO milk tea options and a drink that is so horrible in taste... I immediately tossed it in the bin, €7 Euros wasted.

Go ahead and improve your selection, give the option like any normal bubble tea shop and offer ice/sugar level modifications and for the love of God, get lactose free milk on your menu and throw the disgusting oat milk in the trash. Oat milk doesn't taste good as an alternative here because the flavour is saturated. soy is strong and doesn't work either... Almond could work. Fyi your matcha tastes like plastic.

The tapioca in this Xing Futang shop isn't as good as in othet Xing Futang that I tried. It was hard, not enough chewing and satisfying. When I see it again, it seems different type of tapioca from other shop. Good point is that they have table to sit and it is quite cute. The redbean milk tea was very sweet while the Olong milk tea was very light, not sweet enough which is different from other XingFutang shop that I tried. Like other shop from same brand, you can have a fun fortune telling draw which I really enjoyed. But here they only have the French one and it is quote from celebrity which sometimes isn't clear, I prefer the way other shops do - with both French and English, and straight...

Venue en début de soirée avec trois amies, nous avons testé plusieurs bubble teas chez Xing Fu Tang à Sainte-Anne. L’une de mes amies a pris le « Matcha Boba Milk » : bon, même si le lait végétal prenait un peu trop le dessus sur le matcha. Mon autre amie a choisi le « Matcha Red Bean », plus équilibré, avec un goût matcha bien présent et pas mal de pâte d’haricots rouges. Elles ont bien aimé et noteraient leur boisson 4/5. Il y a des améliorations qui peuvent être apportées.

Moi, j’ai pris le « Bunny and Litchi » et j’ai été déçue. Rien ne mentionnait que c’était à base de glace pilée, et j’ai eu l’impression de boire un granité alors qu’il faisait frais après la pluie. Ce n’était pas mauvais, mais très dilué. Les boba à la fraise étaient trop molles, sans mâche, ce qui contrastait avec les perles marron de mes amies, plus fermes et agréables à mâcher. Elles ont goûté mon BBT, et on était toutes d’accord là-dessus. Par ailleurs je n’ai pas eu beaucoup de perles de tapiocas à la fraise, c’était vraiment un granité plus qu’un BBT. Ce qui est décevant.

Quant au « bunny », il fait joli mais n’apporte rien : une texture entre la guimauve et la panna cotta, mais sans goût particulier. À la fin, il reste dans le fond, un peu triste.

Je ne recommande absolument pas mon bbt, sauf pour ceux qui veulent un granité.

Le service était presque aussi froid que ma boisson : un timide bonjour, pas de sourire, pas de au revoir. Dommage, car le salon est mignon visuellement, même s’il n’y a pas de place pour s’asseoir. Petit plus sympa : un jeu de bâtons à tirer pour recevoir une phrase, c’était amusant.
