This place is a very cozy restaurant with a very friendly staff team. They can speak English, so don't hesitate to speak to them. I also really like it that they offered reservations through Google, which made everything so much easier. Especially since I am pretty introverted and not tp fond of making phone calls. They only have the menu in French, but it has a simple design, so you will not have a hard time understanding it as long as you have your phone to use your translator or you can also ask the friendlt staff. I recommend coming here during weekdays, since then they offer a course menu for a very fair price of 18 Euros(Appetizer, Main, Dessert). You can also remove the Dessert to have a cheaper meal. You can assemble your course menu from a small variety off different dishes (2-3 options). They also offer one vegan option. The special thing about this restaurant is that the food options change from time to time, so every visit will bring you a unique experience. You don't need to buy seperate drinks and just need to ask for water, which is served for free. If you ask for bread (like I did) you also get that for free. All in all a delicious restaurant with very friendly staff and a changing menu, which makes every visit a unique experience. I definetely recommend visiting this place during weekdays to order a course menu.

It was a perfect lunch on Saturday. You feel really welcomed by the whole team and the food was amazing, drinks were really good and the ice cream at the end the perfect end to a great lunch. They speak English and were also happy with kids. Would go again any time and if you plan a day to Straßburg get lunch here, the other choices in the area are tourist traps and if you want something more refined than sauerkraut ;-) come here.

This is a great small place right in the old town that provides an amazing French meal for not a lot of money. My wife and I like to stay away from the tourist traps for dining so we stayed away from the cathedral area and asked some locals for advice. This place came up multiple times. This place is relatively new, opening in October of 2016, but it's already getting recommended around town.

The decor is modern, clean and simple which helps you focus on the food. The service is wonderful. Not being a French speaker the waitress explained the dining concept then made some recommendations in English. At dinner the meals are more like French tapas and we were recommended that we pick about 3 or 4 dishes followed by a shared dessert.

We picked Bonita tataki to start. It was well balance fresh and perfectly prepared not only to appease your eyes but also your taste buds. The presentation of all dishes is as important to the chef as the taste. The portions were actually larger than typical tapas and more similar to an appetizer portion in the states. The next dish was called ris de voau which roughly translates to throat sweet breads which is actually the thymus gland from a calf. We didn't know exactly what to expect but this turned out to be the best dish. It was so tender and rich without the typical organ taste that you get from traditional sweetbreads or pancreas. It was in an amazing mushroom sauce which was amazingly muchroomy with a very light cream aspect for balance. The final dish was mini ravioli stuff and over backed with a rich and creamy gorgonzola cheese. This was an amazing burst of balance flavor and the ravioli were perfectly cooked so that they stayed al dente even through the backing.

Dessert was something magical. We had the chestnut cream pastry with mint chocolate chip ice cream. First off the mint ice cream was really mint. You could taste the refreshing mint flavor the. Your mouth would go slightly numb from the strong yet balanced menthol base. The paired perfectly with a rich yet not sweet chestnut custard that was similar to a light cannoli filling. The presentstion again was of high importance and the pictures I have posted can speak to that aspect of the meal.

The ambiance was great, the music was amazing and paired well with the meal and the location was ideal to let anyone in Strasbourg get a real French meal at a reasonable price. The entire meal with local wine and dessert only came to 58 euros for 2 people . This is truly one of the best meals that I have had in a while. With all aspects of the meal considered from decor and music to presentation and balance of flavors this meal was perfect. Thanks to the chef, waitresses and management! We will recommend this place to anyone heading...
