The service was far from Prestige. We were a family of four looking forward to a nice dinner, but unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. We ordered khinkali, spaghetti Bolognese, a salad, chkmeruli-style chicken, and a few drinks – water, juice, and beers. One of the most important things we mentioned, and emphasized clearly, was that the spaghetti should come without cheese – or if that’s not possible, then with the cheese on the side. It mattered because of our kids. Still, the spaghetti arrived covered in cheese – not just sprinkled on top, but fully mixed in. We tried to catch the waiter to say something, but he wasn’t paying attention, and we ended up stuck with the dish as-is.
The khinkali were underwhelming – no specific problem, just flat in taste and texture, especially compared to the many great places we’ve eaten at in Tbilisi. Later, after we finished the first course, we asked for clean plates before the next ones. In most restaurants in Georgia, waiters offer new plates automatically. Here, even after asking several times, no one brought us clean ones. Eventually, we had to wipe the plates ourselves with napkins. It felt awkward and unpleasant.
And when we were ready to pay, we had to run after the waiters again – none of them responded to our request for the bill. I ended up walking over to the counter, but even there, I stood and waited for five minutes while being ignored.
Overall, it was a frustrating experience – from the food to the service. With so many better options in town, I wouldn’t...
Read moreThe place is located very near to the Liberty Square, has a very good ambience and beautiful set up.
They had live Jazz playing and it was the best thing in the restaurant.
The food was good but somehow did not like the attitude of the servers.
They were kind of racist, they did not want us to take the comfortable table which we choose even though it was empty, after asking they mentioned it was reserved and later kept the reserved plate.
A couple came after sometime and asked I they can sit and if it's reserved and they were like no you can have a seat, they just has a desert and left and another couple came.
This was so not fair to us. Customers should be treated equally.
My advise to the owner to train these staff some basic customer service skills.
Other wise everything was good.
Thabks to the person who played Jazz, he really kept the positive vive on and Charm...
Read moreAmazing location and has absolute potential to be a brilliant establishment but a lack of atmosphere and, from my experience, poor and disinterested staff, let the place down. After ordering five items using the in-house QR menu, we showed this to a staff member who took a photo of it. 45 minutes later two items had not yet arrived. Clearly a break down in communication. We then highlighted this issue to a staff member who was not interested in pausing to listen to everything that I had to say, said ‘yes, yes’ and walked off. After another ten minutes we requested the bill, explained again that the items had not been delivered, paid and left. The repeated feeling that we were and inconvenience by the older blonde waitress is what annoyed me the most. I’m normally pretty patient and calm but her service was well below what I expect from someone who was clearly...
