Good vibe and decent food but their way to deal with customers' allergies is astonishing. We ordered two mains on the menu. The 'allergens labels' for both items clearly did not mention peanuts which my daughter is severely allergic to. I checked with the waiter after ordering to see if he can help check with the kitchen just to be safe, and the waiter gladly said yes. 20 minutes later the first dish came (stir-fried Udon), and to our surprise the side salad was clearly sprinkled with a visible amount of peanuts. We told the waiter and he said we can just eat the 'other stuff' without peanuts on the plate(!). The staff clearly doesn't know anything about allergies but it was a big family dinner so we didn't argue and just passed on the dish to other family members who don't have the allergy. When we thought now they would be more careful with the second main dish, we were wrong. The next dish, which is a shared plate for 4-5 px, came with side salad with peanuts again! We complained about it, the waitress took it back and only picked out the peanuts and brought it back(!). That was enough and we decided not to risk our daughter's life for this and left the dinner (and let the rest of the family finish up).
The whole experience was a nightmare for people with food allergies. We are still very disappointed by how a popular restaurant in the center of the big city can handle food allergies so poorly with so little caution. This is far behind today's standard and they definitely have to up the staff training on the matter. I just hope this comment can raise more awareness and let more business owners know how seriously they should take food allergies of...

Read moreWe came here after seeing the good reviews. Our expectations were mabye a bit too high.
We are used to high quality Vietnamese food after visiting multiple Vietnamese cities, and also many great Vietnamese restaurants across Europe.
There are not many options on the menu unfortunately. I was hoping to have some Banh Xeo or Bun Cha, but both were not on the menu. Instead, the menu was restricted to Pho and couple of other dishes. This is good to take into account when you are looking for plenty options.
We had a couple of rolls (fried & summers rolls) for a starter, as well fried dumplings. All of them were not very tasty, not even close to Vietnamese standards. The fried rolls tasted like they were store bought. The fresh spring rolls weren’t tasty at all, just very mediocre, and again: tasted like they were store bought.
I thought the dumplings were OK, but my partner didn’t like them. So that’s for the starters.
For the main course, we had the red curry, and the chicken pho.
The red curry was fine. The meat wasn’t really tender, but not bad either. The pho was fine. It did come with big chunks of chicken, but the chicken pieces were not tasty, nor did it seem like quality meat. It seemed like thick slices of chicken salami. Also, the chives weren’t chop is small pieces.
Portion size was good, but we prefer quality over quantity. Thus, this place perhaps...
