'O Caffè Mio — Restaurant in Munich

O Caffè Mio at Munich Hauptbahnhof is the perfect place to grab a quick coffee if you’re in a rush. They use coffee from Piemonte, a region in Italy known for making seriously good coffee. I had a latte macchiato, and wow, it was so smooth and tasty that I nearly ordered another one, but I was way too full.

Speaking of full, I noticed they had Torta della Nonna (basically grandma’s cake), but I couldn’t fit another bite after lunch. It looked amazing though, and I’m already planning my next visit just to try it!

I stopped by on a chill Sunday after lunch, and the place was quiet, which was nice. The service was great – the lady behind the counter was super friendly and always smiling, which made everything better. You know how rare that is in a busy train station!

Don’t ever order a medium cappuccino here if you actually want to drink coffee and not just milk. For a medium cappuccino they give you only one shot of espresso and a lot of milk. At best, that’s a latte, but definitely not a cappuccino.

The girls behind the counter didn’t warn me about this. They could clearly see that I was upset with the result, but they were very rude and disrespectful, and didn’t offer any solution.

I came here especially because I wanted to enjoy a nice cup of cappuccino before my train. In the photos it looks like that’s what you get, but the reality was completely different.

Durch Zufall bin ich auf dieses kleine Café im Untergrund des Münchner Hauptbahnhofs gestoßen – und was für ein Glücksgriff! Schon beim Betreten hat mich die gemütliche, fast schon spirituelle Atmosphäre angesprochen. Es gibt Zimt und andere liebevoll ausgewählte Toppings zum Kaffee, was dem Ganzen eine besondere Note verleiht.

Besonders berührt hat mich die Karma-Kasse für die Mitarbeitenden – ein schönes Zeichen von Wertschätzung und Gemeinschaft. Als jemand, der selbst spirituell unterwegs ist, hat mich das gleich auf einer tieferen Ebene angesprochen.

Der kleine Kaffee to go kostet 3,50 €, was für die Qualität absolut fair ist. Der Geschmack war hervorragend – aromatisch, ausgewogen, mit genau der richtigen Stärke.
