Ono Poké Bowl & Bar Restaurant - 5. kerület — Restaurant in Budapest

First of all for everyone searching for a good PokéBowl to eat search somewhere else. The PokéBowl wasn't just bad and small but also expensive. Second of all I rated the Restaurant only for it's PokéBowls because it calls itself Ono Pokè Bowl Restaurant. the Sushi Rice was way too dry there was way too little sauce the selection of ingredients was not good. If you wanted to put classics like mango for example in your Bowl you will have to pay extra it was very expensive (11100 HUF / 30€ for two PokéBowls) it was very very small I had PokéBowls at many different places and I was never disappointed. Not even once. This was the first time that a PokéBowl made me not want to eat it anymore although I still was hungry. My Girlfriend wasn't pleased eihter. She told me that even PokéBowls she bought at supermarcets were better. I'm not rating the PokéBowls harshly because I was frustrated with how small they were or how much I payed. Food was good but a few issues. I ordered the salmon teriyaki poke bowl lunch special with mochi desert but when I got the poki bowl it was tuna. She got the tuna wasabi mayo lunch special with the soup, but it came with salmon instead. So it looks like they swapped our protein selections by mistake. Also it had way too much mayo. Soup was good and we still liked the poki bowls regardless. The mochi jelly square dessert was just okay, however I would not get it again.

Restaurant is clean and has a good lunch vibe. However the bathrooms had no toilet paper or paper towels.

I can’t believe that this moment came, but I must say that i’m disapointed. When I was searching for good poké in Budapest this was one of the higher recommended places with great rewievs. Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t that great. I love poké and it might be just my mistake that I choosed a combination which doesn’t work for me. Anyway, I also tried my bf food which was much better, but still something wasn’t right (the sushi rise doesn’t taste good and also in my opinion, the poké didn’t have a proper portion of sauce, so you basically ended up eating a dry food).
