I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place was such a disaster I had to. The service was terrible - no one came to take our order for 20 minutes, and when the waiter finally did, he couldn’t have cared less. The most miserable staff we’ve ever experienced.

It got worse when our waiter brought the drinks. He dropped my dad’s coffee all down my dad and onto his phone, smashing the glass on it and breaking the screen. Instead of apologising, he laughed! I was shocked.

When it came time to pay, I asked for the service charge to be removed because of everything that happened, but he refused saying that money doesn’t go to the staff, it’s for the business. He did eventually take off the spilled coffee, but not without raising his voice at me, telling me to go outside acting like I was the one in the wrong.

To top it all off, the drinks weren’t even good - my sister’s hot chocolate and my coffee were cold.

Overall, it was a terrible experience. Rude staff, bad service, cold drinks, and overpriced. I wouldn’t recommend this...

Went here for dinner with my wife on our last day in Budapest. Big, big mistake. We ordered drinks, two starters and two mains, not too difficult one would say. However, after a couple of minutes, only one starter arrived (without the extras mentioned in the catalogue), so we had to remind the waitress of the other starter and the drinks. When the second starter arrived (luke warm) they needed to be reminded that to eat goulash it is nice to have a spoon. Sadly, the food was at best substandard. A tour guide recommended this restaurant. Looked nice so we got a table. Wait staff was helpful. Got drinks and enjoying and then a singer started with very high volume so that ended any conversation. When we asked to lower the volume the manager rudely said choose another table or leave. We left. Later on the street a man stopped us and said they were sitting next table to us. They asked the staff why we left and they said it was because of the music.
