We had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! The ambiance was beautifully romantic, with live acoustic guitar and singing, and chic decor and low lighting that set the perfect mood. The food was just as impressive as the atmosphere—every dish was beautifully presented and tasted incredible.
I started with the Floral Tea signature cocktail, which was both stunning and delicious—not too sweet, just perfectly balanced. The tuna tartare was fresh, vibrant, and plated like a work of art, while the creamy mushroom dish was rich, flavorful, and a nice portion size. The tenderloin steak was cooked to perfection and paired with a delicious peppercorn sauce.
Our server, Artajaya, was wonderful—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. He explained each dish with care and made sure we had everything we needed.
Overall, this was a great experience, and I would recommend it to any friends traveling to Ubud (just as it was recommended to us...
Read moreWe were greeted but service isn't great. We made a reservation for 2 adults and 1 child at the KAFE. When we arrived the person mending the counter at the first level showed us to the table that was not suitable for us as it was more of a one sided bench table. When my husband asked if there were any other tables, the staff asked us to look for our own table at the 2nd level. We found our own table in the end.
Food wise it was okay. The Jamaican chicken and Jack fruit Mushroom dumplings were nice. The aglio olio and cashew nut curry weren't desirable - aglio olio was bland and cashew curry had a more soup consistency than a curry. The green spinach didn't even soak the curry. Certainly not a curry by Asian standards.
Barely tasted the coffee in the Mocha.
Definitely not recommending this place to anyone. For a mid-range restaurant, you're better off spending your...

Snacks were served and infused water is on the house. We have the pork ribs which were really yummy and tender (more tender than a famous joint in Ubud). Satay variety was interesting and delicious. Make sure to ask them for a variety of their sauces as pictured. There was a beef/steak dish that was uite interesting as well. All had local flair.
Grilled squid salad was rather disappointing with a few pieces of squid. Add on fried potatoes were just wedges.
Attentive staff but basic English....
