Happy Chinese New Year.

From a little humble oriental beginning . Great opportunity to meet the lovely couple that run this restaurant. A Malaysian / Hong Kong Idea. Nevertheless together with a team of dedicated superb staff run its service & cleanliness to its highest standard. Impressive little simple menu yet elegant. Especially the Crew at counter. Highly commendable both adult, teenager and children a like.

Highly commendable hub place Bubba tea ( bubble tea) with healthy option. Seem like low is sugar and good quality tea use. I have visited almost all bubba tea shop in Dublin and it’s makes this best outstanding one. The jiggle pancake is one of the best in Dublin or the best there is. A high standard recipe and don’t believe me ask the dishes (pancake). We all enjoy it.

The shop name is so oriented “ Kakilang” translate “ my own people “ ( the term My Man…) The origin is of Chinese dialect group called “Hokkien” descendant.

Have definitely return to sample more varieties more photo ,tea and food. Service staff are super attentive and seem to answer any thing about the shop as tourist a like.

When we about to leave; we received a small gift shop red packet ” Angpow “ ( Lucky Money) make the occasion of Chinese New Year of good health great fortune. Like wise we take same opportunities wishing this couple and its crew the same. Good Health Great Fortune everyday and A Smile to come visit them again. Thank you for making a dine in an experience one.

For those who read this review.. please go and dine take away and experience this cozy humble elegant venue from South...

My partner and I often visit Kakilang, and it's quickly become one of our favourite spots to eat in Dublin!

The food and bubble tea are always superb (I would recommend, in particular, their takoyaki, Hong Kong toast, and Japanese soufflé pancakes. For bubble tea, my go-to is always either their Thai milk tea or taro milk tea).

The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I've rarely had any issues with my order, and if there ever is a mistake, they are always more than willing to help make it right.

The store has a comfortable, laid-back atmosphere - located on the quays, its proximity to the city centre is handy if you're looking for a break between shopping or daily errands. There is also outdoor seating available, which is a nice option to have during warmer weather. Tables are cleaned frequently, as it is a small enough shop and can get busy at times.

Overall, I would highly recommend Kakilang to anyone with an interest in Asian cuisine. Whether you're looking for something on the sweeter side, such as bubble tea, or a savoury, filling meal - there is something for everyone here.

Fair play to the team and management of Kakilang - you guys run a tight but very friendly ship, and it's always a pleasure...

Food and service must go along together . Food is amazing but service is terrible with bad attitude of serving. We went there for breakfast and took them 35 minutes to bring out our drinks after ordering. The tea was simply just a tea bag with hot water in a glass without any saucers for taking the tea bag out. There is no milk, either sugar on the table, we had to go up to counter ask for them. Not very mindful service, then food came out after 45 minutes of waiting, this is understandable for such a busy morning. Also, there are no salt or pepper on the table either. We have asked 3 times with the girl when she passing by for 2 glasses of waters but she said yes then nothing was served. We asked her for the third time and waitress said if you want water, we better come to the counter and take them. She should have told us at the beginning instead of letting us wait for 20 mins and then let us know. The food is very small portion as well.

This is a big...
