Went for the Sunday Brunch donation initiative for Syria and Turkey earthquake. The coffee is good and served by good baristas. Food is also yummy although the flavours sometimes don't really blend together that well. The atmosphere is excellent and the staff are quite friendly, everything's clean. However, my low rating is due to order taking. We ordered the special dish "Turkish eggs" with the yoghurt on the side and "mushroom on toast". While mushroom on toast (which also had some specifications) was well-delivered, our experience was ruined by the Turkish eggs. My partner got served roasted pumpkin and eggs. However, they were meant to have sourdough bread and we asked the waiter. He took the dish back and said they'd make the dish all over again. While we thought it was not necessary as we just needed the bread, he got confused. He brought the dish back after a 30 minute-wait, which meant that I had to eat my order before my partner got his back, otherwise it would have gone cold (people like sharing the meal experience together). The dish was brought back again but it was the exact same as the first time (eggs and pumpkin). We told the waiter again. He had to go check the menu with the chef. Overall, it seemed that the staff weren't aware that they had sourdough bread and we probably serving wrong orders. Despite the incident, which is to a point understandable given the special circumstances, I am looking forward to giving Tang another try because the good ratings must be there for a reason :) However, our experience the other day wasn't excellent and didn't match Tang's long trajectory.

The best food I had in Dublin was here. Phenomenal lunch and breakfast options, and super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was stuck between two options and the server essentially painted a picture for me of the options. I could smell the meal in front of me with those words. Their recommendation of the two sold me and I was not disappointed. The food also had an excellent twist on Mediterranean Arab flavours, using authentic high quality ingredients. It reminded me of home and meals my father used to make for me on Sunday mornings with eggs from my grandmother’s chickens and veggies from our garden. I had just gotten my bag and all my passport stolen, and this meal still made me smile. The coffee was not bitter, excellently brewed, and strong. It paired perfectly with the food. Dare I say, Moorish? The interior is warm and hospitable, with an inviting energy. Electric but in a calm enveloping fog of indescribably delicious smells and pleasant music and conversation, richly toned visuals, and friendly seating options. I had to do take out but next time I’ll be sitting and bringing friends.

Of all brunch places I’ve visited, this place has left a significant impression. When I visited for the first time, the staff patiently explain how the ordering process worked and took into consideration of my food allergies, which made my dining experience easier and more efficient. I had their weekly salads where you line up and pick your ingredients/toppings. The ingredients were freshly prepared, well seasoned, and temperate. It was filling yet not overwhelming, and I feel oddly healthy and satisfied after. I also ordered a matcha with oat milk, which was creamy and managed to retain the bitterness of the matcha at the same time. The lamb burrito my friends ordered was also rich in aroma and flavor. It was one hearty meal. This place can get quite busy at peak hours, so we had to be mindful not to take up too much time. Sitting on high chairs may not exactly be my thing, but we had an enjoyable experience overall. Would be down to visit again!

My friend arrived before me and ordered a flat white coffee. After 2 sips, told staff that it was luke warm & asked for it to be heated up. They said the only option was to order a fresh one and she would be charged for 2 flat white coffees! Reluctantly, she did so. When I arrived I ordered a latte, had 2 sips, and it also was luke warm! When I told the waiter, he said I should have ordered an extra hot latte! I told him I never had to order an extra hot latte anywhere around town, ever, and the problem was that this one here was luke warm and I wanted a normal hot latte, which duly arrived and I was not charged extra for this. I had to ask for sugar also, but he never returned with it. After 5 minutes I caught the eye pof a waiter and explained that I had asked for sugar but the waiter never returned with it. He duly apologized and brought the sugar. Sorry for the protracted review but it was very frustrating that an order of 2 coffees took nearly 10 minutes before my friend and I could just relax and chat. On the plus side, I have eaten there before and the food is lovely. The minus is that when is reasonably full, it's very noisy because of all the hard surfaces and scraping chairs in such a confined space. Some softer rubber feet on the chairs and soft wall hangings would help absorb the sound. I wish Tang well but this was my...
