Ristorante Boccadama — Restaurant in Florence

While honeymooning, my husband and I had the opportunity to explore several countries and several cities within each country. Between Spain, Greece, Italy & France - we saw and tasted many amazing things.

Ristorante Boccadama was the best of all of our meals over the 2 weeks of traveling. The restaurant was cozy and inviting. It was an early dinner/late lunch on a Tuesday so there weren’t too many other patrons - we were able to enjoy the subtle music playing throughout the dining area & talk about all of the beautiful things and places that we had seen that day.

I had the most delicious and fresh homemade fusilli with pesto & tomatoes. 6 weeks later, I can still taste it in my imagination. My husband had an amazing & authentic carbonara that looked incredible.

We both got a glass of Chianti ( the Arrocco Chianti Classico) that was the best we have ever had. The manager was gracious enough to allow us to purchase 2 bottles of it to take home to the USA. We plan to open one for our 1st Anniversary so we can celebrate and have a special reminder of our time in Florence.

Thank you to the staff & tip of the hat to the chef. An experience and meal that will be in our memories for years to come. We only hope that we will be able to return sooner...

No se como se come. Solo tome un refresco. Pero si la comida la hacen igual que el trato con la gente. A continuación les paso la experiencia vivida en este restaurante. Les transcribo la denuncia efectuada ante el consulado de florescencia via email. A día de hoy siguen teniendo el anillo que no es suyo y nada dicen. Seguiremos intentándolo. En restaurante por lo visto se mezcla la comida con presuntos delitos de apropiación indebida. En fin Sépanlo los futuros clientes

1.- Los días 6 al 11 de agosto estuve de turismo con mi familia disfrutando de esta maravillosa ciudad.

2.- El último día (11 de agosto) antes de partir al aeropuerto, tomamos un refresco en el Ristorante Bocca Dama. Mi esposa, de forma involuntaria, olvidó un anillo (marca Tous) en el WC al lavarse las manos y se dio cuenta cuando estábamos en el aeropuerto. Rápidamente contactamos con el Bar restaurante y nos confirmaron que lo habían encontrado. Les dijimos que cuando llegaramos a españa les mandariamos nuestra dirección para que nos lo mandaran pagando nosotros todos los gastos de envío. Nos dijeron que sin problema pero que les mandaramos un mail.

3.- Mi hijo sabe hablar italiano y siguiendo las instrucciones del Bar Restaurante, les envió un primer email en fecha 12 de agosto 2023 que transcribo. " Buon pomeriggio,Vi scrivo riguardo all’anello che abbiamo lasciato ieri al ristorante. Siccome bisognera spedirlo, vi do su questa email l’indirizzo a cui vi ringrazierei di mandarlo.L’indirizzo ed il nome del destinatario vengono dettagliati qui sotto:

María Ángeles Bosch Escalada C/ Riu Segura 14 B 08800 Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona) Spagna Per cortesia, vi prego di farci sapere se lo spedirete in contrassegno, o se preferite invece che vi facciamo un bonifico bancario. Siamo consapevoli del fatto che non sarà possibile spedirlo prima del lunedì o il martedì, visto che l’ufficio postale sarà chiuso. Grazie mille per il vostro aiuto. Posteriormente se volvió a mandar el mismo email en fecha 23 de agosto y TAMPOCO HUBO RESPUESTA.

4.- Y este es el motivo de este email. No es un problema del coste del anillo, sino de su valor sentimental. Si se quieren quedar el anillo que lo digan y valoraremos las acciones judiciales a interponer. Pero antes de llegar a eso, solicito su ayuda para ver si pueden intermediar con el propietario del Bar Restaurante Bocca Damma y que nos conteste el email y nos envíe el anillo cuyos costes de transporte asumiremos nosotros.

También les agradecería que me indicarán cuales son los pasos a seguir si no me devuelven el anillo al desconocer la legislación italiana.

PD.- Soy consciente que este es un pequeño problema si los comparamos con los que tendrá que resolver el cónsul, pero la realidad es que nos sentimos engañados y no entendemos semejante actitud por parte del restaurante y es por eso que...
