Welcome to Florence! The Tuscan charcuterie plate was just right, a single serving was enough for 2 if a sandwich was also ordered. The choice and taste was top shelf for price point. The blue cheese side dressing was not overpowering but complemented by the salami and ham. Truffle spread and sun dried onion was a party with the palette. The Tartufina Sandwich was toasted lightly with a crisp crunch and tender bread inside. Again, truffle spread and sun dried onion with buffalo sauce was perfecto! Located directly across the plaza from the Basilica di Santa Croce, this little gem of a wine bar is a must stop.
Had the Vegetariano with a glass of Chianti - out of this world! Flavorful blend of vegetables, including eggplant, topped with pesto, and sandwiched between crunchy yet flaky bread. Perfection.
It was a hot day so we sat inside. Small space but inviting, and the staff was super friendly. Price was easy on the pockets. Their outdoor seating offers great views and ambiance of Florence.

He was so warm and welcoming, insisted we sample a number of wonderful Olive Oils, Vinegars, cheeses, etc. and helped educate us on each. He and his wife were as fun and friendly as anyone we met during our 10 day trip.
