I recently dined at Striscia La Pizza and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The decor is modern yet cozy, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal with family or friends.
The highlight, of course, was the pizza. It was nothing short of perfection. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside while still soft and chewy on the inside. Each bite was a delightful mix of flavors. The toppings were fresh and generously portioned, ensuring every slice was delicious. I tried the Margherita and the Four Cheese pizzas, and both were exceptional.
The service was top-notch. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations and ensuring our drinks were always full. Despite being busy, they made us feel valued and taken care of.
In addition to the fantastic pizza, they offer a great selection of appetizers and desserts. The garlic knots were a hit, and the tiramisu was the perfect way to end the meal.
Overall, Striscia La Pizza exceeded all my expectations. It’s a must-visit for pizza lovers. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu. Five stars...
Read moreFood was okay. Two people came to €37. We ordered 1 dish and soft drink each. My fiancé ordered the lasagna that tasted okay but was cold. I ordered the carbonara which came out on a cold metal pan with the smallest pinch of Parmesan. Overall, everything tasted okay.
The waitress was lovely but appeared relatively new to her role as her boss was very nasty and shouted at her 3 times in the 45 minutes we were sat down.
When the waitress had an issue with the till, her boss came over and was very abrupt. We did not see the service charge at the bottom of the menu and when I queried this with the boss, she all but threw the menu at me to show me the €2 per person service charge.
After begrudgingly paying €4 for a €33 meal, we left without leaving a tip which the waitress definitely deserved but I’m afraid her boss ruined the...
Read moreThe food was truly awful. I ordered the porcini mushroom pasta which was basically a bowl of pasta swimming in vegetable stock with some under cooked mushrooms, with no flavour whatsoever. I paid €15 for the privilege of eating what was a glorified pot noodle. My husband had a carbonara which was ok but had far too much cheese on it.
This in itself was enough to disappoint me and possibly write a poor review. What happened afterward has left me utterly furious. I left my hat in the restaurant and when I returned less than 5 minutes later, the owner vehemently denied ever seeing it. There was nobody else in the restaurant so I can only conclude that she kept it for herself. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life and would strongly warn everybody not to go anywhere near this...
