Caffè Anselmi — Restaurant in Verona

Located in a prime location, with staffs flitting like social butterflies quickly attending to countless customers who wanted to join in the convivial atmosphere. In this boot shaped country, your wishes and whims are taken care of speedily, it is one of the reasons why we enjoyed wining and dining in this country very much. This is the Caffe I left my other half while exploring the magnificent monuments around the busy piazza😁 and when I returned I was tempted by a bottle of lovely Prosecco with some salty complimentary snacks. We did not eat here, therefore I cannot write about their meals, I prefer to go off the tourists' track and more off the beaten track where...

Chose this place as nothing was open for lunch yet and we had just arrived. They have very north american breakfasts that attract a crowd with a very large outdoor seating area looking at the piazza. However, when you have north american omelettes with food photos posted- I never expect too much.

It was filling but too expensive and touristy. Good seating to just take your time and chat as they don't rush you. 2 euro was added to our bill...

We ordered Grilled steak and we want it as medium., they served it well done.. we ask them to change it but gave us RAW!!!!!.. and we send it back again... one of the waiter said that, it was their standard to serve well done for non italians.... so what's the point of asking the customer what doneness do they want?? the steak is also taste blunt... and not cooked evenly... the desserts were...
