Icchan Ramen — Restaurant in Kyoto

I visited on 17 march i had the opportunity to try their famous jerk chicken ramen dish and let me tell you, it was absolutely divine! The combination of the perfectly cooked noodles with tender and juicy pieces of jerk chicken was an experience for my taste buds that I will never forget.

The ambiance of the restaurant was next level, with welcoming vibes that made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked through the door. The host was so helpful and informative, sharing with me their love and passion for culinary creations.

Additionally, I was impressed by the chef's willingness to cater to my dietary restrictions. As a vegetarian, I'm always hesitant to ask for special requests, but the chef went above and beyond to whip up a truly magical coconut vegetarian ramen that was not even on the menu! The flavors of the coconut broth paired perfectly with the fresh vegetables and noodles, making it a truly unique and unforgettable dish.

Stayed close to here and kept walking by, had to try it on our last night in Kyoto. I ordered spicy coconut ramen with jerk chicken. It was just the right amount of food. Coconut milk added a wonderful creaminess to the ramen that I've not experienced before. The coconut milk and the fat cleaned to every noodle that I picked up. His called spicy but I would not say this is a spicy dish. There are options on the counter if you want to spice it up more. Popped in last night at around 10pm as it seemed every food serving joint was full around Kyoto (and it seemed no one was leaving). Icchan Ramen was en route to my hotel.
