We are craving for good tempura that night. I at the first place I thought this place gonna be good, ordered the set menu for 2 (we are 3, one of us quite full) we ordered with pretty high expectation that comes with rice, sashimi, etc. Like one of the pic shows. Pictures of the menu are limited, English are bad. The price aren’t cheap, 3000¥ for the set. First thing come are the appetizers for 3 of us, we are happy already, and then one plate of tempuras. Realized no rice included. Sadly we had to order 2 bowl of rice. Fine then, until the payment time we saw the bills, the appetizer are charged! We never asked appetizer, thought it came from the set dude. And we barely full with the small portion of rice and not even satisfied with the quality of food. All of that cost 5300¥++. A day before, we got 2700¥ tempura set to share for 2-3 people and feeling full in the stomach, with very very delicious shrimp tempura. Thats what makes us wanted to try more in other place. But here, we got pain in our chest with all the dissapointment. Altho the chef are full of greetings and looks...

I went there as it was just opened around 5.30 shortly afterwards it was just full of people. I

The shop was located in an alleyway next to the shopping street. The menu was very simple as there were a few set meal, ranging from 2,000-3,000yen. I ordered the tempura set meal. It came with many side dish abd the portion was huge. The fried soft boil egg was so good. The sashimi side dish was very nice. The salad was awesome. What else I could ask for. The tempura was so good. The prawn, fish, vegetable was crispy inside out but not greasy.

I saw only three men I assumed they were all staff but it didn't take long. All of them were so friendly and helpful. They have English menu.

The total price I paid was 3,000 yen including tax. What a lovely meal and I really love the food here I was one of the best two tempura shops I ever had in my life.

A must try and highly...

Great relaxed local spot in Asakusa for your tempura fix. The staff were polite and welcoming and are aware of their clientele distribution: feels pretty split between local and visiting, so they have something to accommodate everyone. The higher-priced set meal was impressive, well-rounded, and appropriately portioned for a weary traveler(see photo). They also have an a la carte menu in Japanese for those who are picky, not as hungry, or want to order more after the set meal.

Their cocktails are as simple and light as a the menu itself which is fitting for a restaurant serving up tempura.

When you’ve finished your meal, you pay at the register on the main floor...

The tempura is excellent. If you can read Japanese or have a Japanese friend with you, you would have better options ordering from their Japanese menu. The English menu, however, showed only 2 dinner set options. But if you look around, it’s obvious that the locals enjoy having appetizers and a la carte tempura with beer and other drinks over conversations, much like Westerners do with our tapas and fried finger food. In short, the classic tempuras here are light and crispy, done perfectly to bring out the taste of the shrimp, veggies, or whatever you can imagine within. To truly appreciate the delicate flavor, try using the sea salt provided rather than soy sauce.
