Fantastic bar owned by an Englishman who brews his own ale right behind the bar. If you want a 'true' pint that doesn't contain three inches of foam on top than get along here where the ale is poured right to the very top of the glass. Don't forget to pick up your stamp card as it makes a great souvenir but also helps towards getting a free pint on any future trips you may take to Japan. Downstairs is brewing and banter. I sat here as there was only one of me but for crews and views there’s an upstairs area.
I had the daikon cream cheese and crackers as a snack, whilst I consumed a couple of beers. The Mt. Fuji Fresh Hop Pale Ale (from Koenji beer factory) was the standout - uses chinook hops for refreshing bitterness.
