We read the reviews on here and Happy Cow 🐮 and took a chance on walking down from our hotel to have dinner here. Luck was definitely on our side tonight! We were lucky enough to dine here without a reservation. We chose both the 2 and 3 item vegan set menu. A lovely meal in a small, intimate dining room with a couple of other lovely diners, one from Germany and a local guy who we could only partially understand with some translation from the other diner! To maybe help with the atmosphere he kindly played his top four favourite songs before he had to go. It was really nice to have some lovely food and conversation tonight, all while the owner was running it all herself - cooking and service.
Definitely worth coming here, but definitely try to make a reservation the day before (or earlier) as tonight a few people were turned away while we were dining.

Read moreThis was such a lovely experience! The restaurant has very few seats and is run by a lady entirely on her own. It is true Japanese home cooking entirely vegetarian with mostly vegan options. She makes 10 meals a day and the menu changes regularly so do not rely on internet pictures.
As such runs it on her own take note: you may need to wait, she may not be able to accommodate your dietary needs, you may not be able to swap something. Accepting this is part of the experience.
But the three set meal options give you a real taste of japanese cuisine. This is something I was not expecting to access in Tokyo as vegetarian food is hard to come by. The price was so affordable. A real exclusive opportunity and if I could give this 10 stars I would.
Millfy the cutest dog in Tokyo greets you on entry. We contacted on Instagram to make our reservations. I would suggest doing this in advance...
Read moreThe best vegan food we had in our Tokyo stay. Three set courses to choose from - we went for the biggest and our taste buds were delighted from start to finish. Be careful with booking as we reserved a table, but arrived 5 minutes early to find they’d given it away to walk in diners. Luckily they squeezed us in to some bar seats. The food and friendly service more than made up for this strange system. The food looked as good as it tasted and the chef in our humble opinion is a genius. The walnut tofu was incredible, potato and tofu croquette delighted and the tofu steak had a superb depth of flavour. A must visit if you’re in Tokyo and...
