Bvlgari Ginza Bar — Restaurant in Tokyo

They have a nice lounge space and the tables aren't to close together which makes it very relaxing to enjoy a drink or two. The staff here are mostly bilingual which is to be expected from an international business. Staff are very friendly and kind. I ordered one of the best hot chocolates that I've ever had in my life. If you are craving chocolate you need to order this, it' will completely satisfy you although it is very very rich in flavor so you'll need to drink a fair amount of water with it. We also ordered some ice cream and my ice cream had some gold flakes on top of two tiny little cones. The ice cream is very high-quality handmade and delicious although it is quite expensive. If you have the time and money, I'd recommenced this place for a casual hangout and somewhere to have a good chat with someone. An awful, impolite attendant was on the first floor desk as the receptionist. She appeared to be likely Chinese! She claimed that our outfit did not meet the dress code for Bvlgari bar, because we were wearing Yukata. Wrong! This is not Yukata. We were wearing full silk Haori formal jackets from Kyoto, as pictured! This is formal Japanese traditional outerwear! Do your god damn homework! This preposterous woman should not be working in the service industry, she is a hypocrite…because she was wearing uniform that had fuzz balls all over herself! Disgusting. She is a disgrace, and Bvlgari should NOT allow her to serve anyone. Unless things change, this will also be my last time trying to spend any dollar at Bvlgari jewelry. Cartier...

Fantastic cocktail bar. Best Negroni and Vesper Martini ever. I am always on the look out for an amazing cocktail bar and the Il Bar is one. Sadly I only managed to visit the Il Bar twice in my last stay in Ginza. Perched myself at the counter and just had the best night both times. I will be coming back here every time I'm in Tokyo. Really nice cocktail menu though if you are a whiskey cocktail fan then the menu might not have enough variety for you. The prices can be considered on the expensive side but I have and would pay more - absolutely worth it. The service was attentive, the bar staff are excellent, the atmosphere is quiet and cozy, and the bar snacks paired very nicely. Also note the bar was not open during the 2019 New Years period (most bars in Ginza are closed...
