Great place for many of the foreigners looking for a pancake breakfast. Located in a quiet neighbourhood in Taito City. The menu is limited. The wait was so long we were tempted to cancel our order. We waited almost one hour to get our simple pancake dishes. There were only 5 tables including our table. Three tables or 4 and 2 tables of twos. We were disappointed that it took almost 40 minutes just to get our coffee. We sat there looking at the wall. It may be that i ordered some additional bacon that was not on the menu, but at least serve the coffee or something before the meal. If you are in a hurry or need a receipt do not come here. They don't provide receipts as well. Overall, the pancakes were delicious but the meal took so long that our excitement dissipated. Unless you're prepared to wait almost one hour for your meal, don't come here. If you have a lot of time on your hands and don't need your coffee fix right away, the wait is worth it. We spent 3850 yen for two pancake meals and two coffees with two pieces of bacon for...
Read moreThis is the epitome of a very stylish yet family-oriented café. It’s right against the park, it has elegant design, the staff was super friendly, and you won’t believe how good the pancakes and other snacks are.
It’s really common to come here with small children in prams, but I assure you if you’re a 20-year-old hipster you will enjoy it very much.
This café often has tourists, rather cool tourists, from eccentric places like Scandinavia, Austria, Copenhagen, and so on.
It’s really remarkable how many dropdead cool cafés there are in Asakusa, both the amazing old traditional ones that are straight out of the Showa, and modern trendy ones, and everything in between.
As you can see from my photos, this place is a terrific blend of relaxed clean modern design, family oriented vibe, and great service.
Plus for hi-fi fans, check out their...
Read more5/5 STARS!!! Extremely delicious pancakes - I saw a photo of them on Google Reviews and instantly knew that they would be delicious and thank goodness I was right!
The texture is definitely different than a Japanese Souffle Pancake, but it's worth trying! I loved every single bite that accompanied a bite of whipped cream and vanilla ice cream.
I also ordered the Iced Cafe Latte, which came much frothier and lighter in color than I expected, but it was a good surprise because that's how I like my drinks!
Everything was amazing and the guy working here is super nice and works hard! He literally takes cares of all of the customers and does an amazing job.
Would definitely come back, as I'm sitting next to a guy whose omurice dish smells amazing and it's making me...
