When we first arrived, the young male staff asked us to decide on what to order based on the display set outside. We could only choose based on whatever food display there is, which gave us limited options.

For example, the King’s gyoza we ordered were filled with vegetables in a mushy texture. We wanted meat gyozas which is actually available on the menu but not displayed. This made the experience start off on a wrong note.

Ordered Fried soba noodles made using deep fried noodles and worcester sauce. Both were on the salty side, did not enjoy it at all. Do give these a miss if you hate salty food.

Seats were generally squeezy as it is a small restaurant with 2 floors. Water and napkin is served when you first arrived.

There were many locals eating here with huge plates of gyozas. I think they are popular for their gyozas as it is crispy and looks deep fried. You can consider trying the meat gyozas...

This is an old school restaurant in Asakusa that is known for gyoza (Japanese fried dumplings). Apparently there is usually a long line, but we got lucky since there was no wait. We were seated at the counter on the first floor, but it seems like they have two more floors upstairs.

This place is known for their signature Osama Gyoza so we ordered two servings of that as well as the crab fried rice. Unlike most places like this, the service is really good and the portions are not huge. Each order of the gyoza comes with six pieces and while they are fried, they are lightly fried on one side so they’re not too heavy. Would love to try the yakisoba and the crab with omelette next time since those...

Really nice Gyoza restaurant with other delicious Chinese dishes.

Their gyoza are of a particular style. Crispy, heavily fried, smaller with a primarily vegetable paste filling. The flavor of the gyoza was really nice, and their very unique. My preference is less fried and thicker gyoza, but these are good in their particular style 😃

The fried rice was actually really delicious. Really nice texture, it’s not too dry and sticks...
