I recently had the pleasure of indulging in a pork cutlet rice dish, specifically with a fillet cut that was nothing short of exceptional. The pork was incredibly tender, lean, and infused with a delightful aroma that enhanced every bite. The texture was just right, offering a satisfying chew without being tough. Accompanying the pork were strips of shredded cabbage that were extraordinarily crisp, providing a refreshing contrast to the richness of the meat. The sauce served with the dish was a perfect blend of savory and slightly sweet flavors, enhancing the overall taste profile. The side dishes were thoughtfully chosen, each adding its unique touch to the meal, making it a harmonious dining experience. From the presentation to the flavors, everything was on point. This dish is highly recommended for anyone seeking a satisfying, flavorful, and well-balanced meal. The combination of textures and flavors made this dining experience memorable, and I would definitely return for more.

Ordered a basic set for around 3,000 yen as didn’t feel like spending 5,000 yen for lunch (also isn’t that slightly excessive??). While everything looked the part, it’s all about the flavour and this was where I was disappointed. The pork was tough and chewy and the batter didn’t quite stick to the meat. The thick sauce and mustard can fix almost anything, unfortunately not meat that isn’t tender though. For a joint that specialises in tonkatsu and the wait you have to go through, it failed to hit the mark for me. If you insist on going, then you’d be glad to find they have an English menu and staff can speak some...
The food is good. They have English menu. I took away a star because of the poor waitress service: one waitress put the plate on my chopsticks, the other started to talk to me when my mouth was full, and another was explaining the menu behind my back when I have just arrived and was taking off my coat. OK. That’s not really an authentic omotenashi Japanese hospitality. Another two stars must have gone because of the tableware extremely poor quality. I counted five (5) chips and cracks on plates and bowls, which is way too much for Ginza excellent quality! That was the first and - I think - the...
