Atmosphere/ service: We were greeted by an adorable halal burger plush toy đ€Ł before warmly welcomed by two gentlemen. They were very accomadating to the needs of their customers - we came as a family of 5 and they suggested to sit at level 3 as there would be more space but as our parents were already struggling to climb to level 2 to reach the restaurant, they shifted the tables on level 2 instead.
Warm towels were provided after we sat down to warm ourselves up (I thought it was a norm to have that in Japan, esply during winter, but that was the first time we were given warm towels when we dined in). The staff were attentive to the customers and checked with us if the food was okay. There were also instructions on the table on how one can choose to enjoy their burger, which I find interesting.
They were really friendly. One of them chatted with us after we entered, and while we were waiting for our food. He also told us about the other outlet they have at Niponbashi and gave the namecard for details when we said we didn't know about it.
Food: The burgers came with a side of wedges, salad, and their own sauce. Quite a few interesting burger choices (e.g., chilli beans stewed burger, grilled chicken with salsa and coriander burger). We were limited to 2 chicken burgers due to the shortage of the chicken patty, I believe, but that was fine. The grilled chicken patty was really good though :)
The only downside for me was that they do not do take-out orders :")
Even so, we would definitely come again if we visit Tokyo again. Thank you for the pleasant...
Read moreAs a person who lives in Osaka with random cravings, sometimes I craved for a burger. Unfortunately itâs so difficult to find halal burger in Japanâespecially in Osaka (I havenât found one yet!)
Once I found that there is a halal burger restaurant in Tokyo, I immediately secured the Google Maps location for when I go to Tokyo.
I was about to go to the Ningyocho one, but then I found out there is another branch in Asakusa which coincidentally just 7-mins walk from the hotel Iâm staying.
Okay, now talking about the food! First, the serving way is just as I expected! Served on a wooden board with fries and salad (I liked this wayđ) And then, okay, the buns honestly are a bit âtoastedâ but I think thatâs what makes them have âcharacteristicsâ and flavorsânot just some bland breads that sandwich a patty.
The patty? I didnât order for Wagyu meat (just normal one) but still.. juicy and meatyđ€€ Donât expect for a fast foodâs ultra processed patty because this one is fresh.
The fries were also super flavorful which made me regret not to order their sidesđ
Next visit would be me trying the Wagyu one and of course the side dishes! Looking forward for my next Tokyo trip for this yummy burger đâ€ïžâđ„
Side notes: hoping Luxe Burgers can also expand their...
Read moreI donât normally give reviews, but I felt compelled because when I looked this place up, it had many reviews and was rated at five stars rare so I thought that there was no way I wouldnât enjoy this place.
First of all they are guilty of false advertisement. Even outside of their storefront, they depict a double cheeseburger gushing with cheese but once you get it, it has just two normal slices. I was very disappointed by this.
I ordered just that a double cheeseburger with Wagu meat. This cost 32$ so I figured it would be worth the price, but I was wrong. The burger was pretty undercooked, and the meat didnât take very good. The bun was also very âmehâ tasting. However, I will note that the yogurt sauce that was their version of mayonnaise was absolutely delicious and the potato wedges were also pretty good.
Although I was very disappointed with the meal I will note that the service was top-tier. I was served by Maruf & Mamun. They are both outstanding gentlemen, and I could feel the good vibes coming from them. I believe I also met the chef and he was also extremely kind.
Inside of the restaurant was small, but cozy. The chairs were not very comfortable, but the Wi-Fi was very strong.
I would only come back to say hello...
