we ordered the special all you can eat bread option with our set meal, but it seems they have double standard on how that term means. their "all you can eat bread" is served by this young female kid, who bring the the bread basket and she comes to whatever table she likes, and ignore our table. i caught her once, and she was not happy about it and half-heartedly handed me the bread. after that, she always flee, avoid our table, and only serve "her kind of people". i notice that since we are the only "kind of our people" in there. the rest of the staff were apologetic and super friendly, except this young female kid who appears to run the show. well, if she wants to impose that, maybe put a sign at the front entry gate, to let other "kind of people" know that we may not be as welcome for choosing the "all you can eat" bread?
what bothers me too is i gave feedback to the manager, who just mumbled the rhetoric apology with no apologetic gesture and fake impression. maybe the female kid staff is her daughter?

They were fresh and hot, but just not that tasty, maybe my Western palate doesn't appreciate it, but I have spent time traveling in 4-5 countries in Asia and do find tasty local food everywhere. Unfortunately, the service was less than average. The restaurant was maybe half full early on a non-holiday Tuesday night. The server was very polite, but slow and ineffective. We were a fairly large party of 6, and had kids which required some extra attention, like a replacement utensil when one was dropped or more water. Pretty much every request required multiple requests and 5 minute wait, and we were seated adjacent to the kitchen entry. I'm...
A friend of mine and I came to the restaurant at the opening time of around 5pm without a reservation.
Even though there was only one customer other than the two of us in a spacious place they didn't let us through to the seats by the window. I wonder why they didn't let us sit by the window… when we finished eating around 6pm and we were the only ones there though.. Do I have to make a reservation? How disappointing… I was looking forward to having delicious bread with a night view...
